I could not be happier with Dr. Lurakis. He is thorough and gives the time and attention to all your needs. He also has great Dr.’s he refers you to, should you need a specialist! 10 STAR

I have been going to dr lurakis for about 4 years . I seen him 1 yes 1 time and everytime I go they give me a Nurse Practitioner. He does not even try to see all of him Patience. It coust me $25 for my copay and one time I did see him he ( try and get an appointment) got mad that I called teladoc because it doesn't coust me anything. So I was there and it is like a Revolving door with nurses. The nurse practitioner came in Told me your long sound Clear it must be your heart so I would make a cardiologist appointment do you need any refills and send me on my way. 😡

If I could give them a rating of -100 I would. I'm in a cast and on disability. All they had to do is fax a single piece of paper where I could get paid. I went to them on Sept 17th. Here it is the 26th and they still haven't fax it. I called them everyday. Kept telling me they would call me back and they never did. I cried on the phone with them I was so angry. I was expecting to get paid on the 22nd. I have had no money since. No Gas,Food Nothing. Do Not come here. I've worked all my life. It is so terrible having to depend on people who are straight up lazy and lie right to your face.

Excellent Dr. professional and caring

Average primary doctor. Horrible staff. I show up for appointment and sign in and I'm waiting for nearly an hour. I go back up to desk and I'm told my appointment is another day. My name is crossed off and they didn't even bother to call me to the window. Who do they think signed in? If I signed in, I'm IN the waiting room!! I figured I had the wrong day so I went home and looked at my appointment card and I was right and they were wrong. They probably filled the card out wrong since they often are laughing and gossiping, paying little attention to the patients. This isn't the first time I've had issues with appointments.

Me and my husband always paid our copays each visit. I received a 450.00 bill and contacted the billing Dept and found out the coded a visit wrong. Some code for smoking intervention (which I don't smoke) they said they would fix it but never did and I kept getting bills. The office people are rude. They don't get your referrals when they say they did and I got a bill from a kidney doctor because of them. Lurakis told me to pick a kidney doctor and let them know who it is so they could make the referral which I did. Then when I was getting bills I called them and they argued with me that I didn't call. Later they found a note in my file that I did call. Now I need my BP meds filed and they cancelled my account due to none payment, which it is their fault I have a bill. Take those charges off. You coded it wrong. Very nasty people.

Dr. Lurakis specializes in internal medicine which makes the scope of his medical knowledge broader than most family physicians. He will spend all the time your problem requires to move you toward good health. He is a gem.

COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT. I received a call from Dr. Lurakis office in May 2019 regarding the results of a Cologuard test taken in November 2017. The results were POSITIVE and they were notifying me 18 months AFTER I took the test. They suggested I follow-up with a Gastroenterologist. If I not taken action when I received the mailed result from Cologuard in Nov 2017, I would have stage 4 colon cancer now instead of being cancer free. Obviously Dr Lurakis does not review any of his patients results because he would have known my situation. He was my primary care physician and received all of my test results but apparently didn't feel it necessary to review them or discuss any of the results with me. I would never recommend this doctor to even my worst enemy. I have given a rating of poor which is higher than this office deserves.

I have been a patient of dr Lurakis for many years. Being a patient of his now is simply intolerable. Can never see him. Staff is just rude saying routinely to go to urgi care. Finally left and found a wonderful doctor

So extremely disappointed. I am feeling a mass in lower abdomen, but they will not order an appropriate workup. My uncle died from colon cancer and I am not messing around with them any longer. My new doc immediately ordered a CT scan for definitive diagnosis. This office will never collect another copay from me again. If it is established that they delayed a Cancer diagnosis; then they will hear from my attorney..,
