If you are a late stage or chronic Lyme patient, don't even bother with Dr. Patel. She is of the belief that there is no such thing as late stage or chronic Lyme. She believes that 2-4 weeks of antibiotics should cure TWO tick-born illnesses with TWO coinfections! How completely naive to think that a bloodborn bacterial infection would be cured in 2-4 weeks. Is HIV cured in 2-4 weeks? Hepatitis? TB? She is dismissive, uncaring and talks down to you. She recommended that I seek a long-term care facility. I'm 55!! Additionally, her staff are completely unprofessional, playing loud music at the front desk, chatting, singing and dancing while I stood at the window and waited to be acknowledged. Then they trash talked me in spanish. Surprise, I'm fluent too!

Can’t write enough good things about Dr Patel. She was quick in diagnosing my condition. Other doctors missed my diagnosis but she figured it out in the first visit. She spend a lot of time with me and alleviated my anxiety. I would recommend her to all my friends and family.
Never would call back after several attempts. Finally my wife got through and was told I was negative for Lyme, etc. Finally found a DR with a brain and my tests show that I was positive. She is suppose to be a Lyme specialist yet knows NoTHiNg about Lyme. Thank god im actually getting treatment now. Do not recommend at all. She’s only in it for the $$. Rude staff as well.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
