Dr Daniel Richmond is a very good doctor. Staff is unbelievable good & the way they care about patient is excellent. Recently he had done my shoulder surgery. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such personal touches and care for their patients with outstanding quality of medical care and experience.

The people at Dr. Richmond's office have no idea how to check with insurance companies what gets covered and what doesn't. I came in and asked more than once to ensure that my insurance covers me even stepping foot into the office to which they said they will check and then said yes. They then wanted to do an x-ray on me and again, I asked for them to make sure that my insurance covers it and they checked and said yes. I come back for another appointment and they tell me that I have a bill for $362; just for the doctor to tell me that I need surgery cost me $250 and for the x-ray that gave me no benefit cost me $112. I tried calling and they then blamed me for not knowing my insurance company. I called to confirm, I asked them to check, if they didn't lie to me, I wouldn't even have stepped foot into the office.

Dr. Richmond had been quite helpful and did what he could to repair the knee joint. I did get some relief, but not enough. I seemed to need more and headed back into NYC to my previous surgeon where I just had a Total Knee Replacement. Dr. Richmond encouraged me to follow to that step albeit painful!!

Dr. Richmond does know what he is doing, but because he works with Clifford Schob, he can't be trusted. He will say and do anything against his own judgement for the insurance and his partner Schob! Don't go to him!
