Eric S. Siegel's Online Review Report Card

Dr.Siegel is not the most pleasant person to talk to, but if you're looking for a doctor who knows what he's doing and does it good, Dr. Siegel is wonderful. He listens to you although at times he may makes some remarks about your question. He doesn't ignore your concern no matter how silly it might sound to yourself. He tells you things honestly. He's mostly able to see you when you need him. He's quick. Only thing I'm not happy with is his office staffs don't always respect your privacy and some of them would announce your reason for the visit very loudly so everyone can hear why you're there.

I had a very almost traumatizing experience with Mr. Siegel over 10 years ago regarding a sensitive matter. As he walked out of the room he told me that I should keep my legs closed. Till this day I feel ashamed and angry about this. I was a teen at the time so I didn't have the courage to say anything. Just wanted to warn whoever decides to see this doctor

If you want a doctor who cares go somewhere else!!! I went in for an annual skin cancer check and he charged me triple because during the exam he found a few harmless discolorations and bumps. He found a billing code for each one and charged for it.

I would give DR. Siegel a 1 star. First, he prescribes medicine that regular pharmacy’s are not able to go through insurance as it will cost you over $1k for a tube of cream. So you need to go through some private place and buy through them for cash for a much lower fee. Second, I came to Dr. Siegel with a concern about a weird spot developing on my forehead. He came into the room, stood 6 feet away from me (you know..covid) and decided that I just need one of his $1k creams. Did not touch it, look at it through a loop, nothing. 2 weeks later when I came back for a follow up and told him I am very concerned, he again dismissed it. 6 months later when my forehead was getting worse, I went for a 2nd opinion and they did a biopsy and sure enough it was skin cancer. But at this point it got so bad I had a one inch hole cut out of my forehead with a skin graft that will be healing for months to come. Basically I cannot show my forehead to people as it is now disgusting looking and I will wear a bandaid over it forever

I brought my child to Dr. Seigel for a visit not covered by insurance. I found out later that in addition to my out of pocket bill, they charged my insurance company for a counseling visit. The office person and the office manager stated that Dr. Siegel did counsel my child on medication use. I was in the room the whole time and I have no recollection of anything of the sort. If that happened at all, it wasn't more than a passing comment or two. I was told that Dr. Siegel would not speak to me on this and if I wanted to talk to him, I would need to make an appointment and pay for another visit.

5 Stars is not enough Stars I have watched this Dr Grow in practice He was in another smaller location maybe 10-15 yrs ago was great then and is great now Open and genuine talks about his family"we even joke about our sons" Nothing is important about me but my coverage all the above negative reviews maybe due to having a person having a bad day which I have had and it may have spilled over to this office. Because I could not imagine Dr Siegel nor his staff treating any patient nor associate in a less than professional and kind manner. Like I mentioned earlier I have no reason to give him a good review than him giving my condition expert attention. As a person who has worked with the public for over twenty years your not going to make everyone happy even if you treat them to a Lobster Dinner they'll probably say "hey that Lobster was not fresh." Dr. Siegel is an Old School Dr. with new school equipment and technology an Knowledge.

Dr. Siegel is an excellent dermatologist. Whoever does the billing/Pre authorization work either needs help or needs to be removed. I have called and left messages for that person several times over the past 2 months about a prescription I can’t get filled. The pharmacy called and left messages, I called and left messages. Then I guess they got tired of me calling and speaking to the receptionist so they told me it was handled. Called the pharmacy… guess what…NOT handled. Called them back… oh she left for the day (at like 1pm). Called the next day… oh she’s at lunch she’ll call you back I promise… nothing! I am about to change dermatologists not because Dr. Siegel isn’t good, but because the staff can’t get it together. It’s a shame really.

In my experience Dr. Siegel and his staff are extremely reliable and professional they have taken care of my wife and I for the past 15 years approximately…we would never think of going anywhere else they are simply the best in our experience and we would recommend Dr. Siegel any place any time.
