Jennifer Chwalek's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Chwalek was very quick to diagnose a dermatitis rash that I had. I had zero wait time and she managed to treat me outside of office hours. She was very knowledgeable and helpful in treating my terrible itchy skin. I would highly recommend seeing her for any of your dermatology needs as she's very thoughtful, inquisitive and open to many different methods of treatment. She has a lovely disposition!

In my years of seeing medical providers in different cities, I place Dr. Chwalek on top of my list for best medical and cosmetic advice, best bedside manners, and best in medical knowledge dissemination. Dr. Chwalek has been my Dermatologist for the past 5 years. I travel into the city to see her and I've recommended her to all of my friends and family.

Dr. Chwalek is excellent! She is very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to skin care, and took the time to address all of my concerns / questions (laser skin resurfacing for sun damage and fine lines / wrinkles). She comes across as very patient and compassionate, which I appreciated. Her office overlooks union square park, which was really convenient. Overall I would highly recommend her to others.

I've been seeing Dr. Chwalek for my condition now for over a year and she is the only person who has seemed to resolve my matter. She is very knowledgeable and even performed a minor surgery for my wife and was excellent.

Wonderful Dermatologist. Going to her for more than 4 years. She is fast at evaluating information and great at laser treatments. She explains the different conditions so it is easy to understand. Hillsborough NJ Office is very clean and modern, staff lovely.

Went to see Dr. Chwalek to treat my acne problem and a very sudden excessive hair loss problem. I do not kid or exagerate when I tell you that she was in the room with me for 4 minutes LITERALLY. She did not listen to me or any of my concerns. She told me to use over the counter acne medicine after I specifically told her I had tried that already with no results. When I tried to talk to her about my hair loss she told me I would have to come for another visit for that. She is the type of doctor who only cares about the money and not helping the patient. really upset definitely not coming back and i advice you don't waste your time and money.

I've read the reviews on here and I think Dr. Chwalek may have left that practice that is referenced because i saw her today (4/9/14) at Union Derm in NYC. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I had my appointment mixed up and came a day early. No problem - the reception staff was completely accommodating and actually fit me in. Dr. Chwalek's assistant was probably one of the nicest medical professionals I have ever worked with. Dr. Chwalek reviewed my initial concerns and then asked probing questions until every derm question I had was answered. I came for acne and let with prescriptions and samples of products. Also mentioned a recent family member's death due to melanoma and quickly received a full body exam which resulted in two biopsies. Painlessly done and with the most compassion given I am one of those peeps who gets super nervous at all medical procedures. Love her beside manner and couldn't be happier with my visit!
