Positively he is wonderful!
Excellent doctor
I am very glad that I found Dr. Mesnard. I refer him as an Old School Doctor that are very hard to find these days, no disrespect to the other good physicians out there. He has been very helpful with my gout issues and getting it under control. He has no Fancy High Tech Medical Equipment nor does he give the typical 2min-5 min visit then you are out the door sessions. He listens and takes his time with you, exemplifying what a patient and doctor relationship should be. For those who gave him less than A Good rating I not sure if we saw the same Doctor Mesnard, I found him to be Excellent!!!!.
The doctors office is old and has no computer. He didn't know that genetic tests could be ordered to test metabolic issues for certain medications. He did not explain things thoroughly. I am usually very communicative and having been in the medical field for 20 years feel very educated in terms of medical diagnosis and terminology. When I left this office I felt confused and frustrated. He claimed a result was a false positive. I decided to get a second opinion a year later. He was wrong.
Patronizing, pompous, presumptuous and these are the kindest descriptions I could think of. If you actually think you have an autoimmune issue run, don't walk away from this guy!
This doctor is rude and condescending. He has no compassion or empathy. He does nothing to help you or find out why you are feeling the way you do. He speaks negative of previous drs and there diagnosis. I am not sure why he even asks for the medical records. He told me the only Dr I need to be seeing is a physiatrist. His office is old run down small and smelly. The furniture looks like it came from a yard sale. They have no updated technology no computer no Internet everything is hand written and they only except cash payment and they don't tell you that till you get to the office. I would not send anyone here. Not even my worse enemy's.
My experience with this Dr was horrible. He is rude and condescending. He told my the reports I brought from previous drs where wrong. That I am normal and need a physiatrist. He had no answers to any questions I presented besides what I feel is normal and people feel like that. I got no results and left so dissatisfied and angry. Also the office is disgusting old dirty out dated and small. They don't use any updated technology. They don't even have computers or internet.
This was the most horrendous drs apt I have ever had. He is not helpful he gets mad if you speak . he asks you to bring your medical records only to tell you your mis diagnosised and speaks poorly of other drs. He will not help you nor answer any questions. The office is old run down and not updated the furniture came from a yardsale. There is no computers updated technology and internet. They only except cash as payment don't tell you till you show up and then have no change. This whole apt was a disaster and I can only say don't go see this man. I left feeling ten time worse then when I arrived. With no help at all.
Totally uninterested in what you say. over talks you. in a hurry to get rid of you. has no idea what he's doing except putting his time in and see you as $$. Terrible frustrating waste of time. Doesn't have any intentions of helping you nor would he know how. Do not go to this Dr, one of the worst experiences ever and im 71 yrs old!!
The office is very, very old and Dr. is very old-fashioned, to say the least. His receptionist is literally about 90 and she forgets to note the file, etc. Not easy to get an appointment. His bedside manner leaves a bit to be desired as he really loves to hear himself talk and you cannot get a word in. Unfortunately there are not a lot of rheumatologists in NJ area and those which are approved by PPO/HMO plans are few. Be prepared to spend a LONG time when you visit.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
