Charles Franco's Online Review Report Card

I was referred to Dr. Franco for gall bladder removal surgery. It was not an emergency situation, but that didn't lessen the excellent experience I had with Dr. Franco and his staff. From my first visit, I was shown utmost courtesy and attention. Dr. Franco and Suzanne explained the surgery, the prep, what would happen the day of the surgery and the recovery. All in easy to understand terminology, with a written sheet reinforcing everything. Whenever I called pre surgery with a question, a person always answered the phone. The office is very well run. Since it's not in the hospital, it is a calmer atmosphere. The day of the surgery, I arrived at St Peters at 530 AM and was home by 1230 PM. My wife was able to follow my progress on the color coded screen, and she got a call from Dr. Franco when it was done. Check-in and pre-op went smoothly and before I knew it I was in recovery. I did see the robot when I was wheeled in -but I forgot to give it a high five :-) Post surgery also went very smoothly with a faster than I expected recovery. I can barely see the incision in my belly button. I've had almost no issues eating fatty foods. The follow-up visit was just as thorough and easy and the initial visit. Overall, I would highly recommend Dr. Franco and his staff!!

All I can say Suzanne (a nurse at the office) was rude rude RUDE! GOD BLESS the patients who are being seen at that office. She is the first person you would speak to since she answers the phone. "Empathy in nursing is more than just a nice skill to possess. It's what clients seek from caregivers as the basis of good communication" and let me tell you SUZANNE HAS NONE OF THAT!

I was referred to Dr. Charles Franco for emergency gallbladder removal by my primary physician. I went to Dr. Franco’s office for initial consultation prior to scheduling this much needed procedure and was immediately impressed with the exceptional professionalism of the entire office staff. Everyone was extremely courteous, knowledgeable and kind. Lori the receptionist and Suzanne the nurse are true gems! Dr. Charles Franco explained in detail what to expect during and after the surgical procedure. He was patient, answered all my questions and projected genuine caring disposition that put me at ease. Suzanne made absolutely sure that I understood and complied with all the pre-surgery requirements in order for the procedure to take place as scheduled. As someone who worked as an executive in the Hospitality Industry for over 40 years I can safely say that Lori’s hospitality standards are second to none! I knew after this first visit that I was in good hands. Dr. Franco performed my gallbladder removal at St. Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick. The procedure took about 90 minutes and I was released the same day. Dr. Franco successfully removed my gallbladder through a single small incision next to my bellybutton. One week after the surgery I feel virtually no pain, the incision is so tiny it is hardly noticeable, no stitches needed and I couldn’t be happier how well everything turned out. I just got home after my post surgery followup visit and can’t thank Dr. Franco and his team enough! This has been one of the best experiences from beginning to end! I highly recommend Dr. Charles Franco and his team for their outstanding professionalism and kindness.

+LAST WEEK I WAS IN DR CHARLES FRANCO'S OFFICE AT MONROE NJ 08831 ONE OF THE ORTHOPEDIC DOCTOR TOLD ME TO GO TO VASCULAR DOCTOR. SO I SEARCHED HIM BUT HE TOLD ME YOU CAME TO THE WRONG PLACE. THE MOMENT HE TOLD ME I LIKE HIS TRUTHFULNESS. HE IS A VERY GOOD DOCTOR AND SPENDING ENOUGH TIME WITH PATIENTS. SO I AM GIVING HIM FIVE STARS IF THERE WERE MORE THAN FIVE STARS I WOULD HAVE GIVEN DR. FRANCO HUNDRED STARS. ALSO HISNURSE SUZANNE IS VERY KIND AND HELPFUL. HIS SECRETARY CORALI IS ALSO VERY SWEET AND PATIENT. I WOULD LIKE TO RECOMMEND HIM TO ANY ONE.

Had a horrible experience at this doctor’s office. Suzanne (a nurse at the office) was extremely rude to my mother. She was discriminated against and verbally abused over the phone as she was attempting to book a time for surgery. I went in for a second visit with my mom, to better understand her vein condition and treatment, and it appeared to be irritating for them. The doctor did not give me the time of day or a proper explanation of the surgery he was suggesting. Along with us having us wait over 50mins, only to come in and speak to us for less than 5mins. Ultimately, leading us to change doctors.

Poor medical decision making, resuted my two amputations, for which he accepted NO responsibity, which makes him irresponsible. Find ANYONE else for your surgical or wound care needs.

Dr. C. Franco is a wonderful and professional surgeon, I’m very satisfied the way he handled my case together with his Medical staff who are very friendly and helpful

Dr Franco performed an umbilical hernia on my family member. To start the office staff is warm and friendly putting at ease a not so trustful patient. The office is efficient. Suzanne explained every aspect of the procedure. She gave us a list of what was needed and retrieved everything for us so that we were ready to go. Her attention to detail put us at ease.Dr Franco explained the procedure and allayed any fear or misconceptions that we had. I trust Dr Franco's ability , skill and passion for his calling. My Surgery and recovery went very well. Dr. Franco had diagnosed and performed hernia surgery. He is very knowledgeable, thorough and caring doctor. His wisdom and procedure go hand in hand. Doctor himself and his entire staff are very courteous which itself cutting pain in half. Thank you, doctor, and everyone there bringing my health back.

There is a reason why this doctor has a five star rating. Not only is he an awesome surgeon, but his office staff is the friendliest, most helpful bunch of ladies I have ever seen working in any doctors office. I have left other doctors not because they weren't good doctors, but because their office staff was terrible. My surgery went well, and I have healed up quickly with no complications. Dr Franco explained the process well and his office staff made the whole process seamless. If I ever need a general surgeon again, I will definitely be returning to this practice.
