Dr. Dev saved my life when a different endcrinologist had me drowning in my own body fluids from an allergic reaction to medicine. At the time he was in Westfield.
AS A 33 YEAR OLD MAN DIAGNOSED WITH DIABETES AFTER SEEING MULTIPLE DOCTORS DR.DEV WAS THE DOCTOR THAT NOT ONLY ADRESSED YOUR MEDICAL ISSUES BUT ALSO LISTENED TO ME, AS IF WE WERE WORKING TOGETHER
I have gone to Dr.Dev once so far for a second opinion, but I will continue to see him. He was very informative! He took the time to answer all my and my husbands questions. Dr.Dev made sure we understood all possible options for my condition. He was in the exam room for a good 30-40 minutes, getting all the background information, symptoms, findings, and testings. I was told from my previous doctor that I needed surgery right away. (I wanted to avoid surgery as long as I could.) Dr.Dev told me that surgery was not needed at this time and maybe not at all, and explained the other tests that could be done first. I would recommend Dr.Dev to anyone looking for an endocrinologist!!! Best bedside manner I have ever had from any doctor!!
The doctor is very good and caring.Cannot say the same about the office staff. It is extremely difficult to get in touch with his office or make appointments.Calls are never answered and messages never taken. It really tests your patience trying to get through to them.Am giving up and going to another doctor!
Dr. Dev was very kind and listened to me, however he was incompetent in my experience. He may be good for a general diabetis dr, but when the issues of testosterone deficiency and thyroid issues came up, he was inaccurate and clueless on both. endos are supposed to be good with diabetes, thyroid, and hormones like testosterone. I simply found he was wrong about everything he said compared to the current research. In addition, he was very hard to get in to see(waited 6 months), and he wanted his student dr to sit in with us during the appointment. i didn't appreciate this especially since he had to examine my testicles during the visit lol. he is a nice guy, but i definitely would look elsewhere if you have a serious hormonal or thyroid issue. He also told me that he doesn't believe in blood tests.

All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
