Dr. Faraj Touchan assisted Dr. Paul MacKoul in my hysterectomy at the Center for Modern Surgery in Secaucus, NJ. (Center for Innovative GYN Care) CIGC doctors specialize in minimally invasive surgery for complex gyn conditions. Dr. Touchan was present at my surgery as a qualified, fellowship-trained laparoscopic surgeon to ensure the highest level of assistant surgical care. My surgery was less than an hour. I had minimal pain. Fast recovery. 2 weeks back to work. No problems afterward. Living life again! Thank you, Dr. MacKoul and Dr. Touchan!

Suggested a complete hysterectomy because of pre-cancer. Very thorough and knowledgeable.

I was with Dr. DeGrande for many years. I was set up w Dr. Touchan after Dr D's retirement. I have a history of PCOS and have an IUD. After meeting with Dr T for the first time, he didn't seem to care about my medical history; only seemed to want to push a different brand of IUD. He ordered an ultrasound & mentioned there are a few cysts I should "monitor". 2 days later I ended up in hospital with a ruptured cyst on my ovary. The followup appt w/him was not helpful. He pushed the new IUD only

Wanted to change birth control and get consultation from a gynecologist so I made an appointment. I wasn't told who my gynecologist would be and I got Dr. Touchon. He looked like he didn't care about my well being at all. I expressed my concerns regarding symptoms, but he quickly told me I should be on an iud if I cannot stand hormones. Completely unhelpful! Made me feel uncomfortable because it felt like he didn't care whatsoever. I would not recommend him at all!

Dr. Touchan was my doctor delivered my son about a wk & 1/2 ago. All I can say is simply amazing! The staff at his office are so kind & compassionate! Always professional & whatever time my appointment was set for is the time I was seen! As for the doctor, He was very attentive throughout my pregnancy especially w| all the complications I endured & when it came to the actual delivery he made it very stress free! If I do decide to have more kids I will definitely be returning back to Dr. Touchan!

First time with Dr. Touchan after being with Dr. De Grande for years. I really liked his bedside manner and the fact that he reviewed my file before he came into the room and made great recommendations. Looking forward to having him as my new GYN

I was Dr. Grande's patient and loved him. This new doctor does not know how to check on a wpman painlessly. I do not think he even used any cream. I am so sore the day after. I was in such pain that I have never been before with any of my gynecologists. I will have to switch. Also, they brought me to the room and I waited 20 minutes, and do apologies.

Dr. Touchan was my doctor throughout my pregnancy and he delivered my son. I'm sad to see him leave Mt. Saint Mary. I highly recommenced him to any patients looking for a new doctor in Montclair. He's very kind, patient and knowledgeable. He's a good doctor.

My experience couldn't be worse, I explained that I had extremely bad pain during periods that has progressed to 24/7 with a bulge on the left side, and that I have taken countless birth controls. He told me right away that he would put me on it again because there is nothing else to do... which is absurd. He did not listen to my symptoms at all and just poked at my stomach causing more pain. He sent me for an ultrasound for painful periods -pain is 24/7 365. He should not be a Gynocologist.
