Andrew Berman's Online Review Report Card

This is an old review, I went to see him about 10+15 years ago. I had a chronic cough, his diagnoses was absolutely absurd. He said just stop coughing, its a habit. I said how can it be a habit, it only happens in an upright position and never lying down position, like PND drainage. He just said stop couching. I should have sued him for my co-pay back. I always will remember his name and face, that's how much anger I have for him hearing his name

Dr. Berman is nice and welcoming. However, please run away as fast as you can if you're looking for a quality septoplasty or rhinoplasty. I had both done about a year and a half ago and can truly say I think he made my nose worse. My left nostril is TINY and the bridge of my nose is SO bumpy (how is that possible??). I also have a bit of a swelled/droop tip. I waited over a year to post this review, as I know it takes a while to recover, but I am so deeply unhappy with the entire process. Also, the various pre- and post appointments will be 5 minutes long and drain your pockets.

It's now 2022 and I have not had a single sore throat and just one cold since my procedure in 2009. Going from being constantly sick to never having a sore throat has been wonderful. Not having sleep apnea was life-changing. I went from being tired all the time to feeling rested with 6-7 hrs a night. My life over the past 13 years would have been vastly different had I not gone to see Dr. Berman.

I'm not sure who is at fault for this experience but I'd avoid this office at all cost, for the office admin needs better training and or the doctor needs a tad more empathy for his patients. I made an appointment that I deemed urgent for I recognized my hearing was declining. The male office attendant made no attempts at getting me in sooner than the week out appointment given, however a female office attendant called the next day and made me a next day appointment. My insurance made me go through hoops to get the authorization to see the dr and after spending the entire day getting the authorization completed, the male office attendant canceled the next day appointment I so desperately needed. He then makes me another appointment that was later than the initial appointment I had scheduled. Mind you my hearing is steadily declining and it means nothing to this doctor's office. Fearful I come to the office to see if I can be squeezed in because it's an emergency. I wait for about an hour and then I'm told I still won't be seen. Considering the circumstances and how my appointments were fumbled by the office, some flexibility could have been made. Just stay away from this office. They could care less about your actual health.Update:As of today, the doctor himself called to cancel my pending appointment, stating that I could simply go to urgent care. Again, further proof that this office could care less about their patients. I'm sure this phone call was encouraged by my unsavory review, and if this office truly cared about my well being the phone call I received from Dr. Berman would have been about me coming in to be seen/and or a telehealth appointment, instead of calling to cancel my appointment. I'll report this experience to the board, for no patient deserves such treatment. So once again, STAY AWAY FROM THIS DOCTOR.

A wonderful ENT doctor he's caring and very kind, extremely knowledgeable and experienced and is at top of his field. Top doctor!

Dr. Andy is a wonderful dentist. We have been going to his practice for over 5 years and his service is continually excellent. Dentist appointments can be very scary but Andy takes time to explain everything and make children feel comfortable. We look forward to seeing Andy every time.

Dr. Berman is extremely knowledgeable, kind, patient & helpful. He was able to determine what was happening with my throat in a few questions. If you're looking for a great ENT, look no further! I highly recommend him.

Dr. Andy is pretty quirky. As a pediatric dentist he aims to make your kids comfortable when visiting the dentist: his success begins and ends there. As a parent, he comes off as insincere, an inept dentist and prone to deceptive billing services. Do yourself a favor and take your child to a real dentist.
