If you happen to read this, please don't take your kid to this "pediatrician" optometrist, she shouldn't work with kids, was dismissive of my questions and my daughter's concerns. She basically forced her way into my daughter crying about getting eyedrops. When she said she was uncomfortable about a tape this doctor put on her nose she simply answered: "well.. you'll live". Very rude and zero patience. She tries to be nice, but she is not. We were there to address my daughter's headaches triggered by light sensitivity and she ignored my questions, I had to ask again about it and she just recommended adding coating to the lenses and "we'll see what happens". We are already taking her to a neurologist, but wanted to see an optometrist too. This is not the one, very bad experience.

Dr. Wexler is amazing and excellent with children! She was so kind and informative while helping our 3 year old with getting into her first pair of glasses. The staff is very friendly and we are so happy with our experience!
Very rushed and not thorough at all. Does not instill confidence. My son's school nurse probably gave a more thorough eye exam! Plus, rude and unfriendly especially to parents!
Dr. Wexler is simply the best!!! My 4 yr old loves her & loves her visits at her office. She had surgery about 2 years ago & the results were amazing thank God!! Dr. Wexler is truly awesome. I wouldn't change her for anybody!!!
Amy was cordial, relaxed, professional, and has a sense of humor. My kids, wife and I are extremely content with her services. I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews, but my experience was great. Thank you Amy.
Terrible doctor!! She missed the fact that my son has a stigma and is far sighted. I wish I would've known this two years ago when I sent my son to her!! The last two years of school have been horrible. Probably because he so frustrated about his eyes. The new doctor I took him to mention to me that he seen several patients that she has missed diagnosed.
The most unfriendly Dr ever...AND she works with children...never ever again! Didn't answer questions, seemed annoyed, rushed and just nasty!
Dr. Wexler has very little patients, although she may have good clinical skills, her bedside manner is not conducive to a good experience.
Lack of patience with a child who was having her first eye exam
Lack of professionalism across all levels at this office. The final straw for me was hearing one of the doctor's assistants in the hallway disparaging a three or four year old child/patient. They lost our business.
Friendly courteous and very punctual. No long waits or being placed room to room! Love it here!!!
I took my daughter to Dr. Amy Wexler who informed me it was to early for surgery and I should wait to see how it developed. Being a parent I sought out another highly rated doctor and took my daughter there for a 2nd opinion. She had surgery. I am now finding out less then a year later she needs another surgery. Lessoned learned had I trusted Dr. Wexler's diagnosis I would not be in the situation I am in.
she was teh obnly one that caught early eanough that when my dayghter was 1 yrs ikd that she couldnt see out of her left eye! she has been a doc to my brother at the same age and found that out to !! i love going to her and so do my kids!!!!
My 8 yr. old daughter was very motivated to get contacts altho she is generally considered too young, and Dr. Wexler correctly diagnosed and gave her contacts that have worked perfectly. I wasn't too happy with the initial person who worked with us on fittings so my suggestion is comment earlier and get someone helpful. The Dr., however, was very helpful and gave us lots of good pointers...we are happily continuing to use her services
Please don't take your child to this doctor. She incorrectly diagnosed my daughter and prescribed the wrong glasses.
Pleasant and Professional. Very Caring! Surgery went well and scar is almost gone after two weeks from the surgery date.
The Doctor touched my 5 year old son's eye with an eyedropper during a routine eye exam. The next day he had Pink Eye. We returned to the office to complain and were charged for another visit.
