Daniel Ferrante Do's Online Review Report Card

Dr.Wallis had. been my doctor since I was 16. I had severe endo and he helped me because I always wanted a big family. When I was pregnant with my 6th, Dr.Ferrante asked if my child was an accident. I came back two years later expecting. I had already had one miscarriage and asked for progesterone to be checked. They said all was fine. I had an ultrasound and he popped his head in and said heart was low, it didn't look good. At my 11 week, the baby had no heartbeat. I was kicked out of the ultrasound room because they had a patient. I was left to cry in the waiting room because I had to wait to see Dr.Ferrante. After 1/2 hour of crying with other ppl around, I asked if I could sit in private. They let me in his office. He came and told me I should just go on the pill. I had 6 already. He said I'm 40 and will keep miscarrying...why "tourture" yourself? Well, here I am 18 weeks into a total healthy pregnancy and NOT at his practice. Dr.Ortiz in Wharton is my doc now and I am so happy.

Dr. Ferrante delivered our son, and he was excellent.

Should do all women a favor and not treat anymore

Dr. Ferrante is such a easy going and professional doctor. Getting your annual is not the most exciting thing to do but he really makes the experience at ease. He was great at explaining things to me and has amazing bedside manners. He wasn't in a rush like most doctors are. Also, his assistant Lindsay was really sweet!

I have been a patient of Dr. Ferrante for 25+ years. He is the most compassionate, loving and knowledgeable physician. I have had 2 pregnancies with the practice and the wait may be longer at times, but he gives every patient the time they need and deserve. He has ALWAYS answers my questions and makes sure I understand fully before the visit is over. After reading some of the reviews above, I wanted to make sure that I shared my experiences with the general public. More often than not, people are quick to share the negative as opposed to the positive, which is why I chose to write this review. Dr. Ferrante is a top notch OB/GYN and I will continue to recommend him to family and friends.

Denville office staff has bad attitude. She close her eye or rolled her eye with irritable tone when answering your questions when she feel annoyed. I waited for 45 minutes to see Dr. Ferrente, during the conversation, he doesnt seem to pay full attention and cut off your sentence before you finish. He also see two other patients in between while I already undressed and lie on the exam bed. I find he absent minded and doesnt give full attention because he has many patients. Bad experience.

Office staff is nice. He is arrogant and dismissive. Also, I told him I am allergic to sulfur drugs and he wrote me for one anyway. Luckily he seemed dim-witted and I asked te pharmacist who saved me from an allergic reaction. Incompetent. Last time I go to a D.O. instead of someone who actually could get into medical school.

Dr. Ferrante mads the whole experience comfortable. He was patient and had caring bed side manners. He answered all my questions and I didn't feel rushed at all! He is the best OBGYN Doctor I know and I would recommend him to anyone!!!

Misdiagnosed my condition and now I may not be able to have children due to an untreated pelvic infection. Then had the nerves to blame me for not describing my symptoms well! Horrible doctor and human being!

Ive had plenty of disappointing doctors in the past and Dr. Ferrante definitely was not one of them. He always gave me the time and attention I needed and his honesty and knowledge made my experience and care that much better. He really makes you feel like you're not just another patient he's making money off of. You can tell he does what he does because he loves it not because he receives a check. He never failed to pay attention to my complaints and pains and he always made me feel like he had all the time in the world to answer my questions and educate me on things I wasn't very knowledgeable of. When it comes to surgical procedures he was extremely reassuring and comforting and always checked on me to make sure my healing process was going the way it was supposed to. I would recommend Dr. Ferrante to any of my friends and family in need of a great OB/GYN who really pays attention to you. I wish I had him as my OBGYN sooner! I surely wont be switching practices any time soon!
