List of David Garfinkel's Reviews
Late in my third pregnancy, we discovered that my baby was breech and my midwives immediately and wisely handed my case over to One to One Female Care. From the moment I met the doctors, they made sure I was well informed about my options and gave me confidence in pursuing a vaginal breech birth. When I naturally went into 48 hours later, Dr. Garfinkle was my on-call doctor and he and the team couldn't have been more amazing. Throughout my entire labor they made me feel supported, confident, and informed. We had a beautiful experience and healthy delivery and frankly I couldnt recommend Garfinkle and his team more.
I had a wonderful delivery (vbac!) with Dr. Garfinkel. He was extremely compassionate and supportive from my first appointment with him through my delivery. I also had a great experience with Dr. Meringer. The staff was always very nice and helpful as well. I never had to wait long and did not have issues with scheduling. Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the office and look forward to being a patient for many years to come.
I went through the majority of my pregnancy with a different group and was switched over unexpectedly and placed under the care of One to One Female Care when I was admitted to the hospital and was all of a sudden in a high risk situation. It can be very uneasy switching providers suddenly like this (especially during your first pregnancy) and I was not sure what to expect. Every step of the way, the Dr.’s associated with One to One were amazing in explaining to me what was happening, what to expect, and made sure all of my questions were answered. I felt very safe and comfortable under their care. I trusted their guidance and decisions every step of the way. There is one doctor in particular, Dr. Meringer, who I really appreciate because she was a key player in the birth of my son and I am extremely thankful for her and the decisions she made for my post-partum care. I highly recommend this practice!
I have been going up Dr. Garfinkel for the last 21 years. His office staff are very helpful and kind. He personally takes the needed time to review everything with his patients and always asks about my daughter he delivered and how I’m doing. My daughter who is now 19 will become his patient tomorrow. Talk about “ how time flies “!!One minute he is delivering her & the next minute he is now her GYNO 🤦🏻♀️I would not go anywhere else !!!
Very very poor management.Appointments are scheduled rescheduled adhoc and don’t like the way the staff responds. Also does not take care of blood results properly. After the labwork , staff responds only after a month or until the patient enquires about test results .Does not respond to emailPromptly. Also pressuring to decide on the normal or c section , had a very very vary bad experience
I would definitely not recommend going here if you have any questions/ problems that would deviate from what these doctors do on a day to day basis. I went in after a trip to the ER for severe abdominal cramping after the ER doctor told me to see my gynecologist immediately and it was obvious about a minute into my appointment that the doctor did not want to try to listen to me or figure out what was wrong, as she kept telling me to go to a GI doctor even though I had no symptoms suggesting that I had GI problems. She also was very clearly not listening to me because she kept saying contradictory things to what I had already said and told me to rule out endometriosis based on “my symptoms” but literally didn’t even know anything about me or what I’ve experienced before saying that. I also was extremely turned off by the fact that I came in with a serious amount of pain and the whole time I was there, the doctor was telling me I could not possibly understand what she was saying because I don’t have a medical background. That may be true, but isn’t a doctor’s job to explain the situation to me in a way that I do understand? And beyond that, I know my body and the doctor wanted no part in listening to my medical history or what I had to say. Thankfully I had contact with other doctors who could help and did not just lazily write off talking to me and send me to a GI doctor for no good reason. Also, it is bizarre to me that if you are on birth control for a year and still get painful side effects that these doctors just tell you to keep taking it without even trying to find a pill that is better suited for you.
Review of Dr Meringer- I cannot recommend highly enough! Although not my Dr, Meringer offered back up care to my provider during pregnancy. She used either her knowledge, sorcery, or a combination of both to turn my breech baby effortlessly (ECV). I was able to successfully deliver vaginally thanks to her expertise. A+ for procedure and for her calm, yet in control vibe.
I had Dr. Garfinkel for my csection and I found him incredibly disrespectful when he was trying to strong arm me to have my tubes tied before the start of my surgery. It really left a bad taste in my mouth and honestly it was a black cloud over my birth experience. I didn’t see him suggesting a vasectomy to my husband.
Extremely professional staff and empathetic doctor's. Everyone was kind, courteous and very helpful. Would definitely recommend.
I would not recommend this practice. From doctors, to front desk staff to ultrasound tech. All are mediocre to say the least

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
