Great experience with Dr Malhotra
Remarkable individual and doctor. Listened to a looong medical history, often resulting in “we don’t know what’s causing the pain”. He reviewed all the imaging, bloodwork, nerve conduction tests, and wrote up the FIRST FULL NARRATIVE of what had been occurring to me over the last 15 years. He was the first to throw the break on neck fusion, asking if I’d ever seen a pain doctor. I had years before trying everything from opioids to anticonvulsants. He was speaking of a pain doctor for different interventions, such as steroid injections performed as an epidural, etc. He referred me to Dr Terrence Welsh ( part of Altair/Atlantic Health) who has done steroid epidural injections to my cervical (neck) area, which has been very effective. Dr Malholtra then suggested a specific physical therapist, (Dr) Kyle Corrado, and the two were able to directly discuss how to manage my strengthening. Dr Malholtra is upbeat, energetic, and it was infectious. He was the first to make me believe that they could get a handle on the neurological pain, and participate in life again. He wasn’t thrown when I burst into tears (and I’m not a weepy woman) and was so evidently caring and understanding about how fearful I was that this would not work either (so much had been tested, tried & failed in 15 years). But he talked me through it, gave me enough hope to believe the strategy could work. And, it has. The steroid injections reduce the swelling that causes neuro pain, allowing me to to pursue physical therapy to strengthen my neck and other key areas (eg, core strength). I could not have imagined that I would be restoring a MCM desk, including hand sanding for 4 hours one day. And, it was Dr.Malholtra (physiatrist) who took me off the “straight to surgery” road, and put me on one that does not cause pain, but mitigates it, while allowing me to regain strength to return to more of the person I had once been. Again, he is so kind, understanding, and takes the time to put the whole story together. From a general perspective I urge others requiring physical therapy to do a review of other injuries to take them into account as one pursued physical therapy for specific issues. He is a special healer, one of the body, but also for those who have become discouraged. I see my way forward very differently now. Dr Malholtra was the one to flip my healthcare 180 degrees. Dr Welsh performed the key element (steroid injection-piece of cake), while his pointing me to (Dr) Kyle Corrado was an excellent fit, personality wise, as well as treatment wise.
Dr Malhotra is very personable, and caring. He truly tries to help. He is an excellent doctor who even consulted with the Physical Therapist. Dr Malhotra is highly recommended!
He asked many questions, did a thorough physical and then nerve conductions studies. During the nerve tests he explained what he was doing and allowed me to ask questions at any time. I felt very comfortable during the whole process.
Dr. Malhotra is highly recommended. He is extremely thorough with his examination and plan of care. He explains the process in a way that is easily understood. Never seems rushed but has always been on time for my appointments. After many years of suffering extreme pain, Dr. Malhotra helped me to get the proper therapy and treatment plan that I need to finally have a good quality of life.
Great. Made you feel comfortable, easy to talk to explained everything.
Great bedside manner. Very thorough.
Fantastic Physician who takes interest and time to evaluate and make recommendations that incorporate minimal use of medication. There is a lead time for appointments but well worth the wait.
Dr Malhotra is AMAZING!!! He truly listened to my story and came up with a plan, working with the Physical Therapists and other Doctors in the practice to help heal me! He has one of the best bed side manners I've ever experienced!
Dr. Malhotra has the best "bedside manner." So very personable and such a good listener. We are just starting my healing journey together, but I feel like I am in very good hands. He asked great questions and I feel like he can help get me well on my way to recovery. I have been dealing with very bad sciatica where I can't sit for any length of time without pain and I hope he can help direct my healing in a way that avoids surgery.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
