Dr. Stein has been treating me for 35 years. He listens and trusts a person knowing their own body. I had an issue that took us a long time to figure out, but he stuck with me. God bless this man. Dr. Stein and I together figured it out. Unfortunately I didn’t listen to him and went to a surgeon he would rather I not. Turned into a disaster… Dr. Stein then put me in the hands of an amazing surgeon. Dr. Tarantino, who went through hell and high water to find the real issue. Dr. T performed a reconstruction and after several attempts found a fistula and corrected that issue. These 2 saved my life.

I'm writing this review about one of the most amazing humans on the planet! I've had the fortunate experience of having Dr Stein as my specialist for 15 years. Although it's a sad day and he's actually retiring shortly I feel everybody deserves to know what an unbelievable doctor he is! Dr. STEIN listen attentively to my concerns. I've seen him for many years. I trust him 100%.

Dr Stein has been my Gastroenterologist for more than 30 years. He is always kind, caring, and thorough at all times. After any procedure he makes a call to you with results and answers any questions you may have. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a very special doctor, you will not be disappointed.

Great doc with so much knowledge and experience

Dr.Stein is a great doctor. I had an upper endoscopy done and was waiting for antibiotics which they were supposed to let me know when they found one. My prescriptions were at the pharmacy for days and I had no clue until I followed up.

Dr. Lawrence Stein and his staff work in perfect harmony to provide the rare balance of professionalism and support that is not always guaranteed these days. Due to some concerns relating to my health stemming from symptoms several other doctors couldn't diagnose with confidence, I was referred to his office. Throughout the process of my consult and procedures, Dr. Stein was knowledgeable and understanding and answered my questions with warmth and sincerity. He was prompt and thorough with tests and diagnosis and called me personally to explain the results, instead of leaving the task to a secretary, which I've experienced more frequently recently, likely due to the strains of the pandemic. My experience with FPEC included a couple of same-day outpatient procedures. The endotechs and anesthesiologists assisting in the procedures (Stephanie, Melissa and Joe) where pleasant and insightful and made what would otherwise be a slightly uneasy hour for most pass by in a breeze. The outstanding service extends to the receptionists as well, who were a level above other specialists' offices I've visited recently and were eager to address any concerns I had with a welcomed pleasant energy. I had forgotten to bring some documents and Avera and the others were patient and cheerful in teaching me how retrieve it electronically. The whole team at Florham Park Endoscopy were champs in providing matchless service along with confident medical answers that have avoided me, bringing this patient some level of peace of mind. If your needs include seeing a specialist in his field, do not hesistate to choose Dr. Stein at FPEC.
