i had a mesh implanted laparoscopically on Sept 23 and actually never needed to use any other medication than Tylenol when i got home. i was back to work on Sept 26 and resumed all activities one month later. He is a top surgeon.

Dr. Hernando and his staff are the best. I had seen him when I ended up in the ER at St. Claire's Dover and he was very kind and informative. He took the time to speak with me and wasn't in a rush to get me on the operating table. Gave a course of antibiotics and after a few days I was released. Several months later I had to have a surgical procedure and it was done by him and his staff robotically. All I can say is the level of professionalism is amazing. Dr. Hernando spent the time with me in the hospital answering all my questions and is the best surgeon I have ever dealt with. His residents in the hospital also were excellent and they all spoke very highly of Dr. Hernando. His staff has always been polite and helpful. As much as I hope to never see him again, I will definitely know where to go if I ever need surgery again!

This doctor and his team saved my life. I almost died when my appendicitis was about to burst and listen to this, I am also 11 weeks pregnant when they did the surgery. The Morristown Atlantic Healthcare Hospital staff found out the problem right away that I have appendicitis not like the other hospitals that kept telling me I have constipation or gastritis. This hospital made sure I get discharged and the problem is solved. They performed the surgery very well. The procedure was so good that me and my baby survived and doing very good the next day. I totally recommend Doctor Hernando and his surgery team and Morristown Atlantic Healthcare is definitely the best hospital in NJ. They have the best staff and they will really take care of you like family.

Went to see him for a suspected hernia. Barely examined me and said yes I had a hernia not serious and schedule surgery when I was ready - fast forward absolutely no hernia problem was related to my hip and that was the pain in my groin area. Good thing I did not schedule the surgery.

Dr.Hernando is very informative and easy to talk to. He did great doing my minor surgery and explained every step.I did not feel a thing.I am very pleased. Highly do recommend Dr.Hernando.Also his staff put me at ease and are friendly.Just recieved my follow up call today from Dr.Hernando my small area is healing nicely no pain from lipoma removal Dr. confirmed it is benign.Thank you Dr.Hernando

Dr. Hernando performed my hernia surgery on me and both the surgery and recovery were was completely stress and pain free. I hope I never need surgery again , but if I do, this is the only doctor I will talk to. Thank you Dr. Fernando. BTW, you have wonderful staff! Everything was double and triple checked. Dr. Hernando and staff, I can not thank you enough.

The first experience I had here was pretty bad but I was told he is an excellent surgeon. My complaint was his staff never put my script through and I ended up having to wait over 3 weeks for it to be authorized for something that was causing me pain. I also brought him a copy of my ct scan and he said it wasnt necessary even though that's why I was sent there...

I'm 66 and had surgery for inguinal hernia 16 weeks ago by Dr. Hernando and am so glad I finally had done. I waited nearly 5 years avoiding surgery , big mistake. When another illness made the hernia a much bigger issue to deal with I realized I should have had it fixed early on. Dr. Hernando did a fantastic job in every way . He's the best and did the robotic type surgery which you have to look really hard to even notice anything was done and that was just 16 weeks back. I feel fantastic and am doing sprints and back at the gym anticipating skiing this season. If I need something done in the future , I will go to only him. He is absolutely the man to see.

Dr Hernando and his team are nothing short of incredible. He is a wonderful, skilled surgeon. He took care of me when I needed surgery after a trip to the emergency room. I can’t thank him enough.
