Dr. Bergh is straightforward and upfront throughout the entire process, which is something my husband and I both appreciated. After a 2 year infertility journey, we are successfully pregnant via IVF! Dr. Bergh worked with us to develop a plan that worked for us and based on his recommendations. He was always willing to meet with us and answer any questions we had. RMA Basking Ridge is an amazing facility with wonderful, helpful, and supportive staff. I highly recommend them!

Dr. Bergh is the best. Period. I had a five year journey with infertility, (unsuccessfully) worked with 4 different clinics in 3 cities before finding RMA, and got pregnant with my daughter on our first attempt with Dr. Bergh. He and his team are patient and humble and treated us with so much respect and care. We got pregnant with baby #2 on our first attempt too and are now hoping for the best with this pregnancy. Don’t give up until you Go to RMA.

Dr. Bergh practiced at Mount Sinai' Infertility Clinic where I went through 4 unsuccessful IVF cycles. I was referred to Mount Sinai because they reported high success rates. After an investigation by Mark Green, Public Advocate for the City of New York, it was discovered that the clinic had inflated its success rates by 100%. A class action suit brought against the clinic was settled in favor of the patients who had been defrauded. Dr. Bergh did my 4th transfer procedure. While I was in the recovery room, right after the embryos were implanted. he said to me "your eggs are terrible, you should get donor eggs". I started crying hysterically because I was hopeful that the embryos that had just been transferred would result in a pregnancy. He just walked out of the room. I ended up treating with a wonderful doctor in Delaware and became pregnant on my second IVF cycle. My son is now 26 years old and I still remember the pain that I went through because of Dr. Bergh and Mount Sinai. I have never been able to find a website on which I could post a review of Dr. Bergh until now. I hope that he improved over the years but I will never forgive him for the pain he caused me.

If you are assigned Dr. Bergh at RMANJ, I highly recommend that you request a different doctor. I will tell you my experience. I was on the verge of doing IVF when I unexpectedly got pregnant. When Dr. Bergh discovered that I had a blighted ovum, and thus would be having a miscarriage, he laughed and said, 'I bet you thought you had gotten away from us, huh?' The day I found out that my pregnancy was not viable, he gave me a sales pitch about IVF. At this point, he insisted that I have a DNC. When I said that I preferred to wait and let my body miscarry naturally, he was very rude and disrespectful to me. When I requested another doctor, he called me on the phone to nastily berate me while I was in the midst of naturally miscarrying. A truly horrendous experience all around. This man should not be working with women.

This doctor is very rude, especially for dealing with people struggling with infertility. He's about as warm as a dead fish. There are much more compassionate doctors at this practice, like Dr. Morris...she is wonderful, so bypass Bergh and go straight to a doctor that actually cares about you as a patient and your struggles.

Dr. Bergh is one of the best doctors around. He pulls no punches, right to the point and gets the job done! He is very direct and if you cannot handle that, you are at the wrong dr. His bedside manner is very caring, and reassuring. If he has to deliver less than good news, he is very optimistic without misleading. After many failed pregnancies, I have twin soon to be 17 year old boys.

you need to set your expectations when seeing dr bergh. He does care about his patients but isn't the warm fuzzy kind of guy. More importantly he is a genius. He has a ton of experience and will tell you like it is. some people just don't want to hear what he has to say. I did find him to be compassionate and caring. I came to him after a long hard road of infertility and he seemed to understand where we were coming from. After years of wasting my time with a "nice" doctor i was so grateful to find someone who knows what he is doing and told me the honest truth. If bedside manner is the most important thing to you then dr bergh may not be the doctor for you. However, if you want to get pregnant he is the best.

Dr. Bergh is rated one of the top doctor's in NJ however, I found his bedside manner to be terrible. He said 2 very inappropriate things and I will not return.

Dr Bergh does seem to rush thru consultations. He is unfriendly and gets annoyed if you ask too many questions. He does seem intellectual, but uninterested in the patient as an individual. After two years of unsuccessful IUI's at RMA, I switched over to Dr Nasseri at the Valley Hospital Fertility Center for IVF and had a much more pleasant experience and am now pregnant.

Dr Bergh was one of the worst doctorsI have ever visited. He was very cold,unfriendly, and quite un-interestedin helping. Appts were very unpleasantand uncomfortable and Dr Bergh spentlarge amout of time clearly looking atfiles for other patients. Office was very insensitive to our situation.
