I would not recommend her. Very short appointments that are rushed and didn't listen to my concerns.

Knowledgable about my sons type of acne and hyperpigmentation. Personable and made a connection with him (not easy to do with teenage boys!) Made him feel "normal". Excellant bedside manner.

Our son can't communicate effectively and is unable to tell us if he begins to feel pain etc., It's essential that he trust us as well as those we entrust with his care. Dr. Altman is his smart and qualified new dermatologist. She had to remove a mole and put in his stitches. She was kind, gentle, and remarkably careful. So was the medical professional that assisted her. The office staff is friendly, efficient,and approachable. I want to note that our son has a rare chronic blood cancer. We left his previous dermatologists because they didn't seem to care about Covid safety or enforce the rules posted on their office entrance door. Dr. Altman's office practices good hygiene and requires masks of staff and patients. Finally, as the parent of a special needs adult child who is a Medicaid recipient I must search tirelessly for good specialists who accept his insurance. That Dr. Altman does speaks volumes as to who she is and to her integrity. She has exceeded our high expectations.

Nice staff, on time. Dr Altman is wonderful- she found out my allergy to benzoyl peroxide products and prescribed treatment that has cleared up my skin on my face and redness nicely. Very professional

The office was very helpful in making appointments for me and my husband as new patients. Check in was easy with iPad and pleasant staff. Dr Altman was quick but thorough and was very personable. Good experience overall.

Went for a biopsy, called by call center , rather than the Dr. I wastold over the phone I needed another biopsy and that I had Cancer. When I said I have to think about if I’m returning, and wanted another opinion, I was told I was going to die. I now have changed doctors, and don’t recommend this office.

I went to Dr. Altman for help with nasolabial folds and frown lines. Dr. Altman is very kind, welcoming, and professional. Dr. Altman applied cosmetic dermatological treatment to my areas of concern. Everything went very smoothly, and I was extremely pleased with the improvement in my appearance. Shortly afterwards, a family member told me I look great. Thank you very much, Dr. Altman! Months later, I tweezed a small growth on my back, and white pus came out. It scared me. I made an appointment with Dr. Altman. She inspected it, and allayed my concerns, informing me that it would heal sufficiently with no treatment. I was grateful for Dr. Altman's honesty. One less thing to worry about. I am confident that Dr. Altman's knowledge, skills, and expertise qualify her to provide care far more demanding than what I've needed. Dr. Altman is an excellent dermatologist. If you need help with nasolabial folds, frown lines, or other skin issues, I recommend Dr. Altman wholeheartedly.

Dr. Altman’s perfect balance of genuine warmth, experienced professionalism, and keen knowledge went a long way towards making me feel at ease AND extremely confident that I was receiving the best possible care. While some doctors simply prescribe medication, Dr. Altman makes sure she finds the right fit for each patient’s preferred course of treatment. Additionally, her reputation for going above and beyond with her patients is well-earned; a prescription worked so well for me, I needed no follow up appointment, but after not hearing from me in some time, Dr. Altman called to see how I was getting on with the medication and to check if I had any questions or concerns. I now live over an hour from her office, and goodness knows there are plenty of dermatologists much closer to my home, but I will happily make that drive whenever I need her. Dr. Altman is the only doctor I will trust with my own — and my family’s — dermatological needs!
