I would highly recommend Advocare offices. I have been a patient of Dr. Gillis for about 3 years. He is very thorough and knowledgeable. I've never had a problem with waiting times nor staff. The office is usually available for last minute appointments. My insurance is always verified before any tests have been completed. I love that Quest Diagnostics is available on certain days/times to have blood work completed on the office.

Front desk staff was rude and incompetent. They messed up my contact information.I have no idea who has been getting the calls or mail that was supposed to be coming to me. There should be some organization in the medicial field to prevent gross misconduct of this kind.

I spend a lot of time with Doctors due to a rare chronic condition. Dr. Gillis is by far one of the most knowledgeable PCP I have worked with, and I am picky. He actively listens and evaluates, recommends great specialists, provides solid advice, and orders tests needed or requests very quickly. I'm thankful to have found a knowledgeable Dr. Support staff is always pleasant and helpful which goes a long way as well.

Dr. Gillis is really nice person, but takes no responsibility for you as a patient. He ordered testing without following protocol so my insurance would approve. My insurance rejects and I end up with $300 bill. The office loses paperwork I bring in to try and get him to request the initial test or write an appeal. Then I fax in my request and call 6 more time over 2 weeks, nothing done. They advise me it will be complete next am and still not done. I am nearing the deadline for my appeal and the doctor wrote a letter that did not address any aspect of why my testing was denied. The office is incomptent and the doctor takes no responsibility. Don't go here !

Dr. Gillis was very thorough and knowledgeable. I liked that I could tell he was listening to all of my concerns and rationalizing what they could mean. He was definitely by the book, and I loved that.

The Williamstown office is fantastic, but this office is AWFUL. Waited 40 minutes in an empty waiting room to be waved (not called) back. I was handed my thermometer to take my own temperature, rushed through my vitals, then made to wait an additional 25 minutes before the doctor saw me. I received no apology for the wait.If you come to this practice, I recommend going to the Williamstown office (Dr. Meeteer is great), but avoid the Mt. Laurel office.
