Horrible, sloppy, careless, unskilled, just awful. Look at the other actual honest reviews and you will see a pattern of carelessness and sloppiness. You will have a better cosmetic outcome if you have the ER doctor or an intern repair your laceration. Scarred for life due to his sloppiness and lack of skill and poor judgment. It is a disgrace this man calls himself a "plastic surgeon". If we could give zero stars we would, worse decision ever to have used his services.

I am sorry to report this but If you expect attentive follow -up care by your surgeon, I highly suggest you do not go to Dr. Mir. This is the first negative physician review I have ever written. Dr Mir operated on my son for a pilonidal cyst in Dec 2019. He was left with quite a large/deep open wound which was to be expected. My son went weekly, then bi-monthly to have his wound assessed by Dr Mir for 4 months. He could not sit down for 4 months and was in awful pain. No driving, stood for 8 hours at work, stood for dinner, no cab rides, restaurants, no baths, no gym or running, constant blood drainage. After each appointment my son begged the Dr for ANYTHING that would help speed up this awful wound that would often leave embarrassing discharge through his pants. Mir said "nope, this can go on for a year or longer, nothing you can do" My son suffered so, basically worked, stayed home and became depressed. Dr. Mir was absolutely amazing. My son sustained a deep laceration above his eye and my wife and I felt terrified and powerless. But from the moment Dr Mir walked into the Emergency Room, we immediately felt better. He carefully and gently examined my son and made us both feel much better. He spoke to us as equals, and he reassured us that he could help. He then efficiently and expertly repaired the laceration with the technical expertise of a gifted surgeon and the grace of an artist. It has now been six months and his scar is barely visible. We are so happy with the results. I would strongly recommend him to anyone!

I consulted with Dr. Mir at the the suggestion of my general surgeon (Dr. Robert Andrews) about an extremely large and uncomfortably incisional hernia. I had already consulted with numerous doctors, several which did not recommend surgery. The hernia was ungainly and unsightly. Dr. Mir and my general surgeon did the surgery 4 months ago. The recovery took time, but so far the results are nothing less than amazing. I consider myself extremely lucky to have worked with Dr Mir and my other doctor. They are serious, detail oriented , surgeons with a team that was patient and extremely thorough. After having had some terrible experiences with doctors and hospitals, my experience with Dr Mir (and Dr Andrews, both at Lenox Hill) was my best. I obviously highly recommend Dr. Mir. He is a knowledgeable and highly skilled surgeon.

I recently had blepharoplasty with dr mir, he is the most amazing dr and a true artist! He cares about his patients health and well being above all! He made sure I was completely satisfied with my procedure. Any question I had, he gave me all the information I needed and was very patient with me! My eyes are absolutely amazing and I look 10 years younger!! His staff is the best!! Alex is awesome and put me right at ease before the procedure!! Dr. Mir absolutely amazing I have nothing but great things to say. He cares about your heath and attentive to all your needs and concerns. He also teaches his staff the same because they all are amazing Alex was my go to whenever Dr Mir was busy and she made me always feel at peace. During my stay at hospital Dr Mir visited me each day once day after surgery which I thought was amazing. I travel just for Dr Mir and if I would decide to get another procedure done he would definitely be my first choice. Thank you Dr Mir for taking such good care of me !
