Very arrogant doctor who tries to do more than he's trained, i,e doesn't refer he tries to be a specialist.

Dr. Dennison saved my life. Another Dr. misdiagnosed a serious issue, I went to Dr. Denniston for a second opinion. He took the time to analyze all of the data, he looked at me like my life mattered as much to him as it is does to me and then he spoke to me like a friend. I have been seeing him for almost 20 years. His vast experience and education is only surpassed by his kindness and professionalism. My wife, my kids and my friends now all receive the benefits of his superior medical advice. Yes, I am a fan, but more so he is now a valued friend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Denniston since 2001 as have the rest of the members of my family. He's always been very active in my healthcare and has open and honest conversations with me about my concerns. He's never made me feel like my questions are stupid or wasting his time. He has a wonderful sense of humor and "bed-side manner" that makes me extremely comfortable. He makes appointments based on my schedule--including late evenings and weekends, and is available to speak to each time I've called him. I affectionately call him "Dr D". If you're looking for a doctor, I couldn't recommend his practice any higher!

I’ve been going to Dr. Denniston for 6 yrs, been on Celexa for Fibromyalgia. I’m a nurse and was on a travel nurse assignment for 6 months so I couldn’t get a doctor appointment while I was away. Dr. Denniston knew I was away but refused to refill my meds until I was seen. I made an appointment but he still refused to refill my meds which caused me to go through withdrawal and now I’m sick from the withdraw symptoms and have severe pain. Needless to say I canceled my appointment and found another doctor. What doctor would refuse to refill meds that say they are not safe to just stop cold turkey? And the office staff is extremely rude. They never answer their phones. I had to fax a note to ask them to call me and her response was that she’s the only one in the office so she doesn’t have time to answer the phones.

Dr. Denniston was referred to me as my primary by my retiring primary doc. Retiring doc knew what I needed. This gentleman retired, got bored and came back to help many more people. I got sick with some kind of torturous virus prior to my initial appointment Dr. Denniston came in on Thanksgiving Eve to see me. My husband carried me in. He gave me relief care AND his cell phone number. I would never use his number. He treated me with great dignity, lovingkindness and respect over several years

Careing, professional, knowledgable, mannerly, cares for one as an individual, best Doc that I ever encountered.

Dr. D is thorough, diligent, sensitive, knowledgable, and takes the time to hear not only what you're saying about your symptoms and experience, but also what courses of treatment you may or may not be open to - whether that be traditional western forms of treatment or something more holistic in form. Though his training is obviously in the traditional schools of medicine, he brings his full attention to each appointment and really makes you feel seen and heard. The office staff is competent and very helpful as well as quick to respond. This also reflects Dr. D's attention to detail and comprehensive attitude towards treatment and the patient's well-being and overall experience in his office.

dr. denniston spends at least 15 minutes with his patients (which is unheard of these days). he is kind and genuinely cares. he is brilliant! his staff is excellent. they are friendly and efficient. highly recommended!
