I first saw Dr. Matthews back in 2021. I went to her about getting a breast reduction done. She spent about a 1/2 hr with me and going over the entire process. She told me to have a few of my doctors fill out some paperwork for the procedure to get approved by my health insurance. She also spoke on my behalf on why it was medically necessary for the surgery. It finally got approved November of 22, and surgery was scheduled for 2023! I’m now a month post op. I was a little worried about the way something was. She had me come into the office the very next day when she didn’t have any office hours. She was extremely pleasant, didn’t seem annoyed, and explained to me in great detail that everything was fine. Everything looked great and was healing nicely. I thanked her over and over again for seeing me because she wasn’t in the original office. I would definitely recommend her!

Awesome experience from the beginning to the end

Awful. No beside manners. Very rude. Wont help you get approved for anything. She’s the worst surgeon I’ve EVER come across

Booking process to see her is absolutely grueling. After waiting an entire week with no call back because they don't know the out of pocket expense it is if you're not using health insurance (which doesn't cover cosmetic procedures anyway!) I finally call back and get told by another office in the building it costs about $200 to have just a consultation and then they had to transfer me again to make the appointment. Then I was on hold for 10minutes just for another person to answer the phone to "direct" my call but sends me to the wrong office. It is unbelievable to me that a plastic surgeons office staff be so poorly managed, disorganized and have zero information on the procedures the surgeon performs. Just wow, good luck if you want to make an appointment here! I was able to make an appointment at a different plastic surgeons office within a very easy 5 minute phone call. You should not be treated this way by a plastic surgeons staff- spend your hard earned money at least somewhere better trained on basic customer services than Walmart!

Dr. Matthews is an excellent surgeon. I had surgery after I lost 100 lbs. She removed 23lbs. Of excess skin from the weight loss. I owe her my life and now have a more vital life. It has been 3 years since I had the surgery and I thank her everyday in my prayers. Thank you!

The worst bedside manner I have ever experienced in my life. Incredibly unprofessional & unclear about everything she goes over during consults. She doesn’t care about your opinion & will judge you the first second she meets you. She won’t tell you what anything costs until just days before your surgery. The schedulers office won’t answer your calls & will read all your emails and never respond. Trying to get info on anything is like pulling teeth. If you want a surgeon who will give you a warm fuzzy feeling Dr. Matthew’s is definitely not for you. She is colder than ice. I’ve never been this let down by a doctor in my life. 0 stars do not recommend , don’t waste your time with her she doesn’t give an actual sh!t about you AT ALL. She’s a bitter woman who is ready for retirement.

I went to see Dr. Matthews due to a personal injury that had occurred, I heard nothing but great things about Dr. Matthews so i waited 3 months to see her, she was upfront and explained everything thoroughly to me, finally after waiting months.... again due to a personal injury I was scheduled for surgery the surgical scheduling staff was wonderful, and the staff at Cooper was fabulous! Nurses were great anesthesiologist was great also recovery nurses were a huge help! . Dr. Matthews came in to speak to me before surgery they all made me feel comfortable as I was scared to death. Just went for my post op visit today and must say I’m pleased with Dr.Matthews work and I can breathe again. Thank you Dr. Matthews and your wonderful staff!

Dr. Mattews is brilliant. She takes time to explain everything and listens to my concerns. She is very friendly and you can tell she loves her job. Overall, I am very pleased.

She is great..Did a great job so far on my daughters reconstruction surgery from her traumatic injuries to her face.
