Very good experience
I've scene Dr. Beams on two separate occasions. First time over concerns about endometriosis. I've had symptoms for over 20 yrs and family history . Dr. Beams stopped me right away before I could go over my symptoms , dismissed me and said "well let's start by acknowledging a period is a very painful thing." "And secondly , their is no way you can have endometriosis because you have children." As we now know is NOT TRUE! She then quickly changed the subject. My second encounter with Dr. Beams was during my current pregnancy. I was just sent to the hospital for monitoring and test which all came back normal however my symptoms were still concerning. I was instructed to follow up with more monitoring and blood work by the physician on duty. I was seeing spots , getting weak , extream shortness of breath, and I would feel myself beginning to collapse. However my B.P. was normal and I had no fever. This would happen threw out the day just going about normal tasks. I was to become agitated it would be more intense coupled with chest pains / flutters the feeling of being hot and having beads of sweat form on my face. When I explained all this to Dr. Beams she told me. " "I've read your reports and see no reason to retest you, your B.P. is fine. " "It sounds like normal pregnancy pains coused from how the baby is sitting." I relayed my symptoms again and expressed how I felt about her dissmisive attitude to which she replied that she felt my problems were being coused by "panic attacks". The fist time I saw her she acted like I was a hypochondriac and now tried to tell me I'm just having panic attacks.... She wanted me in and out of that room as quickly as possible and couldn't care less about listening to her patients. Her whole attitude was basically that she knew more about my body then I did even though she refused to listen to my history and cut me off every time I tried to talk. I made a point of making sure none of my future visits are scheduled with her. Overall it was a horrible experience. Dr. Beams like so many other new Dr's has lost the art of actually caring and listening to her patients.

She was my doctor the very first time I ever had to go for my annual she was super nice... now going back a year later she was very rude and judged me and made me feel uncomfortable I decided to bring up a few issues I was having and she just judged me and made me feel like I was dirty. Never going back to her again! She doesn’t even deserve the 1 star I gave her.
First time going to the gynecologist since I was 18 years old. Felt so rushed and like I was a burden on her time. She called me back to inform me of an abnormal pap result, so of course I had many questions that she seemed annoyed to answer. As a doctor this is YOUR JOB. You choose this profession and should expect the questions. Do not rush and make me feel like an annoyance. Will not be going back to her.
Saw dr.beams for my first ob visit This was my first pregnancy which resulted in a miscarriage at 9 weeks 3 days. Dr. Beams helped me so much getting through the most difficult time in my life. She was very compassionate during my surgery. Very helpful answering all my questions and takes time to review all my labs.
Started seeing Dr Beams while I was pregnant with my first baby. She was on time and very personable. She addressed the concerns I had at each exam I went to. She also delivered my baby and made me a lot more comfortable with my first experience of labor! She is quick yet efficient in the office and spent as much time with me as I needed. Great doctor!
New patient appointment- no conversation of how I was doing. What's going on? Wipe her finger tips across my breast for a breast exam! What kind of exam is that? Received an express Pap smear. Test .Certainly wasnt comprehensive quality care! Very disappointed and certainly not worth the sick time I used for appointment or for my insurance to pay for visited. Searching for a gyno who can provide quality care since my gyno retired.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
