EXCELLENT ALLERGIST AND ASTHMA DOCTOR!

Dr. Berlin is an excellent, knowledgeable allergist. I have been a patient for a number of years and just started getting allergy shots. The staff is friendly, efficient and professional. Always get a prompt return call when I have a concern. Would recommend this practice where they know you by name.

Dr. Berlin genuinely cares about his patients and keeping them feeling well. I recently started allergy shots after years of putting it off. It's a commitment, but will be worth it when spring rolls around and my allergy symptoms are diminished. If you're looking for a great allergy and asthma specialist, you can't go wrong with Dr. Berlin and his staff.

Dr. Berlin is very thorough. I appreciate that he took his time to get to the root of my issues. He also made sure I understood what my condition was and the steps needed to treat it. He checks to make sure I am doing ok and am not having any additional complications. Great doctor. I trust he will continue to take excellent care of me.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor. Dr. Berlin was rude, dismissive, insulting, and arrogant. He basically talked over me, dismissed my concerns and was totally condescending with his responses. It was such a bad display from a doctor, that If I didn’t know better, I would have thought someone was playing a joke on me. Save yourself time and the ridiculous $250 upfront fee charges taken “in case” they do testing. Which btw, the nurse informed me that he was going to want to do a nasal scope of my sinus cavity and allergy scratch testing even BEFORE he walked into the room to meet me or hear my concerns. He was so rude, I wouldn’t let him tie my shoes let alone perform a test on me. Terrible doctor!

Paul Berlin cares more about collecting fees than about providing good treatment. He did nothing to help with my symptoms, but was happy to perform all kinds of tests for which he was anxious to bill. In fact, he refused to even see me until I agreed to pay $250 up front, which an almost unheard of practice. I then went to a Pulmonologist in Philadelphia who was able to much more efficiently diagnose and treat my underlying condition. She performed some of the same tests and others that Paul Berlin did not, and my bill for her services was half of what Paul Berlin charged Avoid this allergist. There are others out there who actually care more about medicine and their patients instead of just billing the patient as much as possible.

The only thing he wanted to sell me on was food tests where I would go to office and eat a particular food and then wait a period of time to see if I had a reaction. I could only assume he refused to do anything else for me so that he could collect a co-pay each time I come. That was an unreasonable and unrealistic approach. Complete waste of time and co-pay. I’ll have to go to another allergist to be properly cared for. I even had to sit on a magazine in his old dirty cloth chairs. He is someone that shouldn’t be practicing medicine. Terrible doctor. I wouldn’t recommend him to an enemy.

I’m not sure why this doctor is in business. He has no personality, is arrogant and extremely condescending. He has an agenda, regardless of what your there for. He does his routine and gets what he needs from you, then sends you on your way with no answers. I went with 2 children with separate issues and separate times and got tested out the wazoo with the same answer. Not allergies, move on. His response was, “It’s my job to rules out allergies only”. Thanks for nothing.

Not even busy and he spent like ten minutes with us. Just said it wasn't allergies and then was not interested after that despite me having more questions. This was such a waste of time. And they make you fill out a novel before you see him. Would def NOT recommend him.
