How could you live with yourself putting a patient my mother through something so horrible tried four times to put a back stimulator inside her why four times after the first time why didn't you just stop or even the second time and then formed a hematoma and then told my sister that you felt like throwing up. As your also telling her our mother is in ICU now almost paralyzed. Then make one follow-up and she came in on a stretcher and you said oh I thought you'd be walking by now. You are pathetic you shouldn't even be a doctor.

Dr. Meagher didn't look at my ct scan images. Without looking at images he told me there is nothing he can do for me. I should just treat the pain. Looked right in my eyes and lied through his teeth. So I went and found a REAL NEUROSURGEON that DID look at images. I was immediately diagnosed with a spine and spinal cord problem that is extremely dangerous and I'm recovering from surgery right now. Thank God there are a few good professional doctors out there still with compassion. Dr. Richard j Meagher is NOT one of them. He should be in politics, not medical!

Best bit of luck I've ever had was reuniting with RJ when I had to go to the ER with what turned out to be a serious spine problem. He had been one of my science students when in 7th grade. Thats another story for another day. I had suffered with terrible pain for over a month while several doctors tried to treat me. Finely one of them told me to go to the ER. Dr. Meagher happened to be there at the time. Long story short, I was in the operating room within 2 hours. Several hours later I woke up in a room and any trace of the pain was gone. I had suffered with it for a month. Running into Dr . Meagher was the best piece of luck I've ever had. I cant say enough.

Dr. Meagher cares about his patients. He listens to your concerns, and speaks to you in a no-nonsense way that you feel comfortable with. He is a very "positive" thinking person...always friendly and it makes you feel the same. My fusion procedure was successful in correcting the priority issue I was having, and he did it with a single level as opposed to the two-level that I almost got previously from a different surgeon. I could not be happier with my care.

I was suffering horrible leg pain from spinal stenosis, several herniated discs , and spondylolisthesis. Dr. Meagher first apologize for not meeting me before the surgery. He assured me that all the pain would disappear which it did. Words cannot describe the feeling I have now to be pain free. Talking to me ever again called me to apologize for not seeing him during the post office exam ination. Which I appreciate it very much. This is a proven professional I would recommend him highly to anyone who has spinal problems if I had 5 thumbs I would give him 5 thumbs up

Don't have surgery with this doctor. I had a spinal fluid leakage caused by him and he told me I have to find another neurosurgeon to look after me because he doesn't have admitting privileges at his hospital. I am currently hospitalized and he won't answer their calls. He did my surgery only 3 weeks ago.
