He did my gastric by pass in 2008, subsequently I lost over 200 pounds and maintained my weight loss for all these years. Never a complication or problem.

Dr Kipnis saved my husband’s life. This is a definite. My husband had necrotizing fasciitis and Dr. kipnis had to perform 3 surgeries in 4 days! He met with me constantly during those 18 days in the hospital and was patient with me through ALL the questions I had while clearly “ driving the bus” through his recovery! I will FOREVER be grateful for his expertise and caring manner! I would HIGHLY recommend him!

For me the Doctor is most important, obviously he is the one doing the surgery, but all to offer doctors support staff suck, from secretaries , schedulers, assistants and what have you. Well that is NOT the case here , from the minute I was referred to this office everything was excellent . Dr.Kipnis speaks to you in real time terms and is right on the money , his staff has been welcoming , understanding, helpful and empathetic. This office is a rare find . I’m happy I found them and would highly recommend to anyone that needs the services they have to offer.

It’s been a year this October 2020 and I’m a hundred pounds lighter and still losing weight. Dr. Seth Kipnis and staff are truly Knowledgeable, kind and respectful. My only regret,I didn’t have the surgery done sooner. I highly recommend Dr. Kipnis. Update as of 3/2022, still down over 120 pounds!! Waist size 48 to 30/32, BMI in the 20’s

I received a gastric sleeve from Dr. Kipnis. He is professional and his staff is very helpful. The surgery went great and recovery went very well. Dr. Kipnis even has staff that visits in the hospital and spends time with you to make sure you get the best possible outcome.

Kept me well informed and secure with his surgical abilities. I always felt like I was in great hands. His staff is so helpful and was always ready to lend a hand when I needed it.

My father had his gallbladder removed on 11/9; he is an 84 years old man. After his procedure, he was discharged in the late afternoon without even checking him for any internal bleeding - this was dangerous as my father was on aspirin and the blood is obviously thinner in that case. He was also on blood pressure and has heart issues, Simply discharging him with so many red-flags without keeping him overnight was truly unfortunate. That evening that he was home, he fainted and his blood pressure went down to 58, emergency was called and he was in a different hospital since he would not make it to the Jersey Shore Hospital alive. After a bunch of tests were done and the doctors discovered that he had internal bleeding and his portal vein was damaged and all his blood was pouring in the abdomen, he had a surgery with a surgeon on calls that day and that doctor basically saved his life, he got 2 liters of blood out from his abdomen. I called Dr. Kipnis in complete shock and explained what happened, he said that he was sorry and that he does not practice in that hospital where my father happened to end up after all. I do understand that these types of mistakes are common, we were just unlucky, we have doctors in the family who explained that to me, but after all of the trouble that my father went through and still going through Dr . Kipnis did not pick up the phone and did not even call my dad to ask about how he was doing, or at least to be sorry what happened to him - absolute silence! My father almost lost his life!!! It is ridicules how this doctor does not care much about his patients. Surgery was done, insurance paid, money transferred - the rest is not my business - You think it is a good character doctor - i do not think so? Judge for yourself ! After all 5 stars reviews above/below maybe this one will help you to think twice, and i hope i helped others to avoid this experience my dad had to go through.
