David Lessing's Online Review Report Card

Had a bad reaction after the initial dose of the meds he prescribed for acute sciatica, and had to wait two days to get a response from my phone call for an alternative medicine...in debilitating pain. He told the front office that I needed to get a script from my PCP for pain medication. Really? I didn't see my PCP for my sciatica, I saw Dr. Lessing! My PCP wasn't going to call in a script for pain without examining/ treating me first, and being the day before Christmas Eve, had no available appointments. When I called Dr. Lessing's office back at 2:30 in the afternoon to explain the situation, he had already left for the day. No regard for my well being, knowing I was in terrible pain to deal with over the Christmas holiday. Will never return to his office!

Let me know everything to expect and told me in a way I could understand.

Patient compassion and understanding start with the receptionist at the front desk. I was there accompanying my relative with a broken foot and it was my first visit to Dr. Lessing. Broken foot-related from a car accident was getting a second opinion. Receptionist spoke to me in a horrible tone, when I replied that yes, this is related to a car accident, she immediately said that the doctor could not see us unless she had authorization from the car insurance company adjuster. She talked so fast and in a rude tone about all the info she would need from the claims adjuster. I had nothing to write all this down with, never been thru this process before dealing with a car insurance claims adjuster, and she tells me that the doctor is leaving soon. Now, it would have been helpful that when we first made this appointment that all this was explained to us so it would have given us enough advance time to gather all the info before the appointment. We canceled appt. Not coming back.

excellent. aspirated right knee. gel one injection. running commentary & explanation of everything that took place. Dr. Lessing sincerely cares for his patient's well being. Thank you.

Had a injury to my left knee, I have used this office approx. 4 years ago for my right. Office staff is Very friendly . Dr. Lessing explains your treatment in detail while offering different approaches / options with no pressure. There goal is to see you have comfort with what treatment you choose. Excellent bedside manner, with a caring staff that is there for you. Wonderful experience and staff!

Dr Lessing is the Greatest I have been his patient for a while and I hope he will never retire

Felt rushed by the X-ray tech and very very unprofessional. No bedside manners at all. Doctor didn't explain anything at all. I would never refer anyone and never go back. Not worth.

He’s awful. Didn’t listen. Took 3 personal phone calls during our short consultation and prescribed a nerve medication without waiting for determining tests. Never again.

Skilled professional that keeps my 96 yr old knees pain free.

As a new patient, they were able to fit me in the very next day. Staff is very professional and efficient. Dr. Lessing was thorough and he took his time with me. Didn’t feel rushed. I don’t understand why this office has so many negative reviews.
