I've had the pleasure of Dr Biswal's expertise on 2 occasions at JSUMC. I found him to be very caring, knowledgeable, and quite personable. I saw him in early Nov 2011, after being in the hospital for 13 days and having two nephrostomy bags put into my kidney. Still dealing with severe pain for a couple of weeks after, I was sent back to the hospital and seen by Dr Biswal. He really payed attention to what I was saying. He was able to find the problem and have it fixed. My problem in Dec 2011 happened on Dec 23. I accidently pulled out one of my nephrostomy bags on a kitchen cabinet. Totally freaked out and after a hellish night in the hospital...Dr Biswal came in on Saturday, Dec 24, Christmas Eve, to fix me up. Injecting a little humor, to put me at ease, he replaced the tube in my kidney, taking wonderful care of me. I can't thank him enough because as of May 2012 I still have my kidney. It's now all fixed and working well. Thank You...Dr Rajiv Biswal...you are one of the best!
