Originally I was supposed to do oncology care with University of Pennsylvania. However due to insurance issues I went to RWJ New Brunswick for my care; I was referred to Dr. Evans through Dr Banergee and a prior oncology nurse practitioner at RWJ. DrEvans is the consummate professional has the most superb bedside manner no nonsense. He was able to give me only four chemo sessions as opposed to ...
I have been seeing Dr. Evens for almost 2 years. When I was initially diagnosed, he explained things in a very clear, detailed, and caring manner. When it was time for treatment, he discussed my options and let me make an educated decision with no pressure from him. Throughout my treatment, he continues to be caring, and always gives whatever time I need to ask questions. He never makes me feel rushed or less important than other patients. I would highly recommend Dr. Evens.
Had one visit so far with Doctor Evens. So impressed with his wealth of knowledge and his ability to explain it all in understandable language.. More at ease with all that's getting ready to happen for my stem cell transplant.
My father had relapsed lymphoma; we were late to the appointment, but Dr. Evens still spent a very long time with my father and the entire family (> 90 minutes) explaining all the possible treatment options. Our family was very impressed with Dr. Evens and his whole ONcology team.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
