List of Anil Nanda's Reviews
I went in for a craniotomy for trigeminal neuralgia and had a major stroke. I ended up back on the ventilator for 2 weeks and in NSICU for 4 weeks. I had a ventricular drain due to brain swelling. My husband was told i probably would not live. I spent 9 weeks in the hospital, had a PEG tube for feeding, had to relearn everything including how to walk. I wore a diaper for weeks and still dont have much of a voice or full use of my right arm or hand.
He's in a rush, he doesn't listen, and ultimately, he doesn't care at all about his patients. Just shows up in very expensive shoes, expensive clothes, expensive cufflinks, and he doesn't care about human life at all.
Very Excellent Doctor. Never heard of him until I had to have my procedure done and every time someone asked who was doing my surgery, everyone told me he was the BEST. Learned that people traveled from all over to see him. Great staff and gave all the glory to God. Thank yall very much for a great experience in a very troublesome and nerve racking time.
Dr. Nanda is who all of the Doctors go to for surgery, so he was my guy. He is an excellent surgeon...but his bedside manner is horrible, he thinks he is smarter than everyone else and I rarely saw him. My surgery was at Willis Knighton in Shreveport, basically a ghetto Hospital. All things considered, I would rather have a Expert Surgeon that is not personable, than a hack Surgeon that tells good jokes after a botched surgery. Now you are informed. He is a Great Surgeon, just a little to much swagger and not enough information shared after surgery. When I asked him what procedure was performed, he simply said “I fixed you, that’s all you need to know”. My GP has been trying to get a surgical report for 7 years, still nothing.
Truly excellent doctor and a remarkable human being. Interacting with him made me so much more comfortable before my brain surgery and recovery has been excellent just as he said.
Excellent staff and bedside manner. He is in high demand so this means he cannot spend an hour with everyone, but that does not make him any less knowledgeable.
Helpfulness? Can Nanda spell it or does he understand the concept? I'm old enough that I've been to many physicians in my lifetime and Nanda is without question the least considerate, most uncaring of the lot. He was rude and offensive, distracted and could not have cared less about me and my health care. He must have had an important patient to tend to, because he couldn't get out of my exam room fast enough. If I ever need a competent, caring neurosurgeon in the future, I'll know where NOT to look for one.
Great physician. He did surgery for stenosis of the spine. I have had a very difficult recovery. I had minimal pain but I still sore and it makes difficult for me to walk.
Dr. Nanda is the best in the world. He took care of me during a long and complicated surgery as he described it. I'm so blessed to have had his golden hands treating me during a very difficult surgery.
Dr. Nanda and his surgical team are AMAZING.. My 22 year old son had a craniotomy yesterday and they did awesome.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
