This doctor abruptly left St. Peters without notifying patients. My son was under her care and prescribed medication, who does that? The hospital didn't have anyone to cover so they suggested Children's Hospital but my son was 17 at the time and they could not help us since they only service children up until 18. Very unprofessional indeed.

She helped me with my child by knowing his allergy to dairy products which change my child from Autism to talk and make eye contacts with me and with his teacher thanks Dr Zimmerman

As the parent of an autistic child, like everyone else, I also made appointment to see Dr. Zimmerman, who after spending time over the paperwork told us to come back after three months. Then wasted another two appointments with no therapy or anything planned. Then asked to come after 6 months, still no treatments, only going over the paperwork again, while the child is getting worse!!! Unless the child has epilepsy or something visibly present like many coming there(my child is severely autistic but no concern to Dr. Bier, no meaning in visiting this doctor's office or the setting there. The doctor herself is very presentable and seem nice. However her staff are the worst for this kind of service positions who doesn't have an iota of sense in them on their own, nor let you talk to the doctor herself unless you make an appointment 6 months down the line. In short, it was a big waste of a year with this doctors office and all the other doctors want you to have MRI, EEG, sleep study etc just to charge the insurance thousands of dollars with no meaning or benefit to the child patient. Finally I acknowledge, I was wrong in thinking these specialists were of some use and sad to say my regular pediatrician was absolutely right about these specialists. If you have an autistic child, stay away from these specialists as they won't make any difference in your child's life. They just abusing the situation of lack of specialists in this grey area.

Dr Zimmerman-Bier is a wonderful doctor... she really listens and does not judge or put you down. She takes into consideration all that you share with her. She explains medical terminology very well.
