Muy linda la atención
Being a patient here where I had my first baby as well as working as a physician in this hospital, I will give this place 5 stars for the cleanliness the hospital maintains, overall staff courtesy, nursing care and some fantastic physicians.
I called st. Peter's hospital to make an appointment today (Tuesday) Dec, 21 around 3:30 pm. After we agreed on the date and time of the appointment the operator asked me what kind of insurance i have and i said let me look to my insurance card which is infront of me.and she immediately put me on hold for abt 40 mins for no reason. She ( the operator) said hello and told me to hold again. I waited for 1:09 hr ...ended the call anyway.I am writing this review because i felt like the operaters action was deliberate.

I was born here at 3/11/09 and my twin and me are the rarest type of twin Monoamniotic-monochorionic Twins so when we were born a nurse passed out and broke her arm 😂😂
Came in with covid symptoms and my doctor send me here for infusion.I was asked wait in the pediatric waiting room with children and families. I was so worried for their safety as I was coughing and double masked. Still.. After 3 hours of waiting I asked for a nurse. No answer. I paged my doctor. Finally they brought me into a room and left me there for another 30 minutes. As I was getting ready to pack up and leave, there was a nurse., when I told her I was getting ready to leave, she said you can leave if you want . Definitely not someone who likes their job. I have a lot of respect for the Healthcare professionals . This was too much it is 4.5 hours. Still here. Don't know for how long. I told them several times I am having problem breathing. No answer, no explanation, no response. I should have gone to RWJ.
Spotless and SPOT ON! Highly recommend St.Peter’s CARE center. Plenty of staff per patient. Never had to search for a nurse, they were there BEFORE you needed one. Highly recommend!!
Horrible, terrible ER experience. I was in the WAITING room for over 5 hours. No one took my vitals, until I brought it to their attention. You are basically left for dead in the waiting room, no matter what your symptoms. Never would I ever go back. I would’ve had better care at HOME.
I am only giving one star because zero stars is not an option. I went to the ER a few weeks back - without going into a lot of personal detail I spent an hour alonge waiting in the ER waiting room. Saw the ER doctor only one time during the six hours I spent in the ER. I was extremely dehydrated and only received one IV bag the entire time I was there. Was told they could not give me anything to drink but would not tell me why. The ER doctor was extremely dismissive and discharged me with my numbers still elevated and I was still dehyrated. Complete waste of my time and I certainly did not received the medical treatment that I should have. Fortunately there are plenty of other hospitals in the area - do not make the same mistake I did and choose St. Peter's - RWJ is right down the block.
I'm always use this hospital,, they treading you with respect and love,, I'm going there since 1990 until today,I love to go there,no complaints about them.. never ever. Kind people, wonderful Doctors ,they really care about your health
Front desk and security staff are beyond rude for no reason. Staff inconsistently applies their Covid policy of one guest per visitor. Security staff at the front desk also talks down to visitors for no reason when the visitors are already in an extremely stressful situation being at the hospital in the first place.Special shout-out to the lady security guard with the dreads for both being rude and letting 2 guests up to visit a patient despite enforcing the mandate for other visitors.
We had a Baby here and overall experience are amazing, all staff and Specially all nurses are superb,I am very happy to recommend this Hospital Thank you so much from the bottom of our heart.
The worst service I could get in a hospital. I only came to bring my boy to make an x-ray and the staff don't seem to know what customer service is, I don't recommend him at all
Don't waste your time at this medical institution. Horrible service all throughout.
Excellent care by people who love what they do. The only local hospital we will use!
I've had 4 babies delivered here and it's the best experience ever every single time. I honestly can't think of anything that could be better. Every staff member I came into contact with was top notch professional and caring. Beautiful facilities, great nicu, wonderful nurses and doctors. Food was awesome! Honestly cannot rave enough!
Worst ER I have ever seen with fraudulent billing! I fell down and got a deep wound that required stitches so I rushed to Saint Peters ER immediately. I waited for 5 hours, and no doctors came! The nurses did not do anything and I had to wait the next day to get stitches by a surgeon from a different practice. Saint Peters later billed me for services that I never received.
BEST PLACE TO DELIVER A BABY!The nurses here are angels!!! They are always available whenever you need them, around the clock. If you are debating between St.Peters and JFK, choose St.Peters.I had a c-section and had a rough post partum. The nurses literally walked me to the bathroom, took care of me like a child and took care of my newborn as well. They changed diapers for both of us. They brought us food at midnight. Filled our water bottle. Comforted me when I cried due to engorgement after my milk came in. They brought in the lactation team right away and ensured that I don't get discharged if I'm not ready to leave. Their words of encouragement and constant reminder that I'm doing all that I'm supposed to take care of my newborn was something I really needed to hear such a vulnerable time. They wheeled us to the car and helped place the baby in the car seat. As a new parent who had no clue about parenrhood, the nurses there were literally angels.I will definitely choose st.peters for my next pregnancy.
Our mom (age 92) was in the system for 2 weeks. She had a kidney stone which morphed into a kidney removal. Based on the experiences of the last 14 days, this hospital and it's associated service providers are severely lacking in communication skills and recognizing the challenges faced by seniors. Hearing impairments and reduced cognition require different techniques of communicating to patients. The doctors and staff at St Peters missed the mark earning at best a C- in this regard. While patients with these conditions can be a challenge, one would expect the staff to be at least cognizant and exercise a bit more care to not further confuse and provide timely and comprehensive information to the patient and family members. Simple things such as making pithy notes in notebooks, using the whiteboards in the patient's room and communicating in advance upcoming procedures and plans would make a world of difference. We are fortunate to have limited experience with hospitals and the healthcare system but if this experience is indicative of the state of healthcare, it further encourages me to do everything possible to stay healthy and avoid this discouraging experience.
Slow . Spent 8 hours in the er for pelvic pain during pregnancy. They took 4 hours before i seen a doctor . My 5th hour a ultrasound was done. The nurses were very nice but unorganized. I was going to give birth there but given my experience I will be going to Rwj for the birth. Would not recommend
