I have been under the care of Dr Gupta since June 2018 when I had a ruptured Brain Aneurysm. This doctor saved me life. He is the best in his field. He is compassion and thorough in explaining procedures and diagnosis. The care given to me by Dr Gupta and the staff of RWJ surpasses any hospital I’ve seen. I was truly blessed to be in their very capable hands! Thank you and God Bless them!!

Dr. Gupta is a remarkable doctor and human being. Not only is he incredible as a doctor but has a sense of warmth and empathy towards his patients. He relays information in a clear and concise manner and is sure to ask if there are any questions. He also works with a “plan” after each visit so it is clear where treatment is going. All doctors could benefit from his model of treatment. He also has a remarkable staff that are excellent in their follow up with patients. RWJ is privileged to have him on staff.

Dr. Gupta and all his team gave me exceptional care. I first consulted with the doctor by telemed. It was very easy to get through to Dr. Gupta’s office and make arrangements. He performed a diagnostic cerebral angiogram at RWJ New Brunswick. There were problems that day at the hospital, for example, the computer system in his operating room went down, and that made the day longer than it would have been. But everyone there treated me with kindness and compassion. They kept me comfortable and informed. The procedure went well, and I was discharged with good news. Two medical professionals who had had dealings with Dr. Gupta had told me what a wonderful surgeon and wonderful man he is, and they were correct. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Gupta is a wonderful neurosurgeon. From my very first visit he took the time to explain everything about my aneurysm and the tests necessary along with potential treatment. He and Dr. Roychowdhury stented and coiled the aneurysm August 2020. They are amazingly talented surgeons and saved my life. I highly recommend them both.
