I chose Dr. Chen for Cardiovascular Preventative Concerns. Her credentials for this are top shelf. Thankfully, I have nothing wrong...yet! She was very nice, listened well and her staff on that floor were all excellent. The one caveat is that I am a low carb, high fat and protein patient and it is nearly impossible to find specialists who can work outside of this box of Big Pharma's dogmas! I suppose ...
I had the very same experience with her She is cold uncaring and very impatient with my brother who is also a Parkinson patient. My brother could not answer her question quickly and she was huffing and puffing and rolling her eyes. I don't have any of my questions answered. Also he is over medicated. and she keeps refilling the meds. He should be taking no more than 30 pills a month and he is taking 240 Sinemet pills a month.
My sister was seeing this doctor for her Parkinsons. She had the DBS device implanted and this doctor was clueless when it came to treating her. Dr. Chen takes DAYS to return calls, don't treat calls as an emergency, does not have an emergency contact # on hand, and doesn't know how to treat my sister. She doesn't know the medicines and she doesn't know the device settings. Her expertise is of a graduate student. Don't go to her at all. Go elsewhere. She caused my sister a LOT of grief, anxiety, and depression.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
