Other than having to wait months for an appt, my entire experience was as comfortable as could be. Dr. is extremely competent and knows her stuff. Your appt. is not rushed and she makes sure you understand and are informed of all options, depending upon your circumstances. I would definitely recommend her.

Dr. Hutchinson-Colas really cares about her patients! I’ve only seen her once so far, but she made me immediately comfortable during our visit and took the time necessary to talk through all of my issues. She took my emotions and life/cultural experiences into consideration when coming up with a treatment plan— I’ve never had a doctor with such a holistic and communicative approach. I would highly recommend her, especially for patients who might have had dismissive experiences with urologists/gynecologists in the past. I really felt seen during my visit, and like my treatment plan is actually going to be manageable because it has been created *for* me.

From the The time I met you for all my office visits through all my testing and then through my surgery you have made me feel like a woman again with my miduhethal sling. Thank God for you. I was a student under Mandela Washington Fellowship 2016,she taught me alot in her clinic about women's health and pelvic floor strengthening,I use the same skills I obtained from her at my local community especially with women who have weak pelvic floor muscles. I trust her 100%. She is such a warm, funny person but a professional, direct doctor. I felt comfortable with her from the start and she questions you and spends time with you to find the route that is in your best interest. I am scheduling surgery with her and have never felt this comfortable with a doctor before. I have and will continue to recommend her, she is outstanding at what she does!
