Dr. Moorthy is an angel and helped my child and our family immensely. She is a great professional, very thorough, reviews diagnosis and treatment options so well. Her bedside manner is awesome. She is extremely patient and made my daughter feel so comfortable. She is very knowledgeable, empathetic and simply an adorable person. Her medical and nursing staff are excellent as well. They respond to every phone call and answer your questions so patiently and are so helpful. Highly recommend Dr. Moorthy. She truly cares for her patients as her own family. WE JUST LOVE HER
I really like Dr moorthy she is kind . She listened carefully. She explained well . Take her time to see patients Ask for parents opinion what they want if they feel comfortable with treatment She suggests. Thanks Dr moorthy
In the very sensitive subject of your child’s health, in my opinion, a doctor should not shame, intimidate or scare a parent, ever! Her tone was completely inappropriate. Why would one proceed with a Dr. who doesn’t let them finish a sentence, shame you for not following her protocol on what SHE thinks is best for YOUR child and try to push your back up against the wall for questions that you are not prepared to answer. Sorry Dr. find a kinder approach. Maybe you will get some better reviews.
Dr Moorthy was kind and listened very well. She was really nice to my daughter. The staff was nice as well and they got my daughter a quick appt so she could get a diagnosis and start care. The diagnosis was accurate. Highly recommend!

She was so terribly rude throughout the entire process. Definitely not worth the monthlong wait for the appointment. She did not have the patient to even listen to my symptoms and instead talked over me 110% of the time. I literally wanted to cry and die at the same time. Never have ever felt so tired and restless. She is horrible and her inexperience is evident. Additionally, she was on her phone the entire time and took forever to just wash her hands, then later complained about having a tight schedule. Not doctor material to be honest.
Office policies are very strict. If you think you'll be over 20 minutes even if there is unaccounted for traffic don't go. They do not consider being a large university hospital based system means patients will be traveling. Stick with Hackensack Meridian Health or UPENN. Higher quality systems with better patient understanding.
Me gustó como me alludaron ☺
Pompous attitude, with large ego, unable to think outside of the text book. Rheumatology encompasses many illnesses difficult to diagnose...her inexperience is apparent. Would not recommend for anything other than common medical issues.
I actually never had the opportunity to meet the doctor. After 3 months of waiting for my daughter's appointment, I called the office to ask for directions and learned that my appointment had been canceled, that the doctor was on leave and nobody notified me. I spoke with the supervisor, who was rude at the beginning of the conversation. After she realizes that it was their mistake, she change her attitude and tried to find me a new appointment with an infectious disease doctor from the same office. Our original appointment was with Dr. Moorthy, a pediatric rheumatologist which is what my daughter needs. I lost a precious time to improve her health. I am extremely disappointed and angry. Very unprofessional and careless!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
