List of Lena L. Merjanian's Reviews
Her staff is the WORSE!!! I was standing by the receptionist waiting for her to get off the personal phone call she was on. I waited a long while. I signed a release form for my records to be sent to another dr. This was in June of 2022, records were never sent. I was told by the receptionist since I didn't go to Robert Wood Johnson Hospital for my bone density and my mammogram they wouldn't ...
Dr Marjanian was very nice & thorough. I had no issues with her, however her staff is something to be desired. Her staff is not friendly, they actually ignored me & left me standing by the desk for a while, they made several mistakes on all my medical forms & gave me all kinds of excuses. My friend had an issue with billing at her office & no one is interested in helping her settle it so when they mixed up my insurance I insisted they fix it immediately, but they told me I have to wait a week to get it in the mail (they are about 5 blocks from me). I did ask them to have the dr call me back because I didn’t want to be on hold until she finished with the exam. I never received a call back.
She is disgusting. She is unbelievably disrespectful. I tried explaining my situation and what I want, all she did was steamroll over me with her prepared speech on IUD. I specifically said I do not want that and she continued to push it to the point of tears. She doesn't treat patients like people with feelings and any idea of what is best for them, patients are just bodies she can comand.
Saw Dr. M for the first time. Had a terrible attitude and tone, made me feel like I was doi something wrong for being proactive regarding my condition.. would NOT recommend at all.
I saw Dr. M for approx 3 years. I had a IUD suggested and implanted. When my body was not responding well after almost a year, I decided to have it removed. Dr. M told me "I'm disappointed in your decision" after trying to push me to keep it. I was also left in the office for 45+ minutes naked on the table. Meanwhile, I went w/o being diagnosed with PCOS even though I had all the "red flags"- no ultrasound or proper blood test were ever ordered. I was diagnosed by a diff org immediately after.
Stay away! One of the worst doctors I have ever seen. Sorry... she is actual the worst by far.
Please read other reviews before seeing her. Dr. Merjanian is very nasty and disrespectful. After waiting over an hour she kept her eye on her phone while I spoke and ask her a question and she replied without looking up "I will not be hear for the next two weeks so schedule at NB office. of her patients wishes. She does not know to info patient of lab test prep and seems as she is forced to be in the office. Once she told me go see your prime doctor if you have any pain. Really...
Dr. Merjanian as other reviews state she is very nasty and disrespectful. Has others priority than answering any questions. She can't even advise if any lab prep is required. She need basis manners classes.
Couldn’t have had a worse experience with a doctor. She made me feel as if I did something wrong by coming in to see her about an issue I was experiencing. Had an attitude when discussing options and was not happy that I did not want to get an IUD. After seeing her one time and not even having a full examination, I was pretty displeased when she kept asking me what I want her to do and giving me an attitude for coming in to see her. There is no reason a patient should feel like this.
Im suprised at some of these nasty reviews. I also feel that half of the time when it comes to reviews, people will only write them if they had a bad experience. I work in the healthcare feild and Dr. Merjanian was recommended to me by one of the doctors I worked with. I'm glad I chose her . She is incredible ! Very smart, caring, and sweet. Her bedside manner is great, and she even called me after having one of my diagnostic exams to inform me of the results personally. She took the time to sit with me and really explore what was going on, instead of seeing me for two minutes and pushing me out the door as many busy doctors do. I would highly recommend her!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
