List of Leonard Y. Lee's Reviews
Long story short. Went to Dr Lee w my dad. Dr Lee recommended quadruple bypass open heart surgery and a new valve. Which at my dad’s age would have been life altering to the point of selling a business. Went for another opinion at Mt Sinai in NY, turns out he did not need bypass nor a valve. Had 2 stents done and is fine. Back to work in a week and healthy. Doctors should not push major heart surgery when much less invasive measures could be taken. Advice; get 3 doctor’s opinions. Good luck.
MV repair on Monday home Wednesday.. Feeling stronger than ever
If it weren't for Dr. Lee, my daughter would be dead. University of Pennsylvania and St. Francis heart hospitals BOTH turned her down for surgery. The infection around her heart was the worst those doctors had seen in 20 years. Dr. Lee cleaned out all of the infection and replaced her valve. The scar in her throat from the traech (which was done at a hospital in Trenton) looks worse than the zipper from her open heart surgery. On top of his surgical skills, his "bed-side manner" is comforting to the family members of his patients. Dr. Lee always responded immediately to my questions (and there were a lot of them). He gave my daughter and me a second chance at life. God Bless Dr. Lee!!!!!
On may 30 2017 Dr Lee replaced the Aortic valve and did a bypass, I never took or needed any painkiller or even a tylenol, I highly recommend him, he is second to none 🌟
Heard many good things about Dr. Lee. He has saved a good friends parent. My dad had many stent put in with him. This year he went in for triple bybass and a valve replacement. Dad was a diabetic 2 and had tons of neuropathy in his legs and feet. He made it through surgery came home. vein from leg and chest. He passed in his sleep the 3rd Friday from his surgery. Day after visiting his heart doctor, Khanna. Dr. Lee is one of the best but if you have other diseases make sure you ask about risks and complications.
We are so grateful for Doctor Lee he changed a valve in my father's heart. Everything went perfect. He is the best doctor for this operation. Thank You Lee you are the best #1
Dr. Lee is a consumate professional. He has been very creative(through extensive research) in developing the minimally invasive technique he used to replace my husband’s failing aortic valve. My husband was able to leave the hospital after 2 days. Dr.Lee and his cardiac team were available 24 hours a day both in and out of the hospital to address my husband’s challenges. As The Chief Surgeon at Robert Wood Johnson, Dr.Lee brings extensive experience and highly developed skills to this work. We strongly recommend Dr.Lee as a cardiac surgeon. My husband had a 4 inch incision over the rib cage on his right side, which has astounded the other medical professionals who care for him, and his cardiologist was particularly impressed.
I can not recommend Dr Lee enough. Had my aortic valve replaced on Friday and went home the following Monday. I had no pain and only needed Tylenol to deal with my body being fatigued (like when you take it when you feel achy from the flu). The first surgeon I visited wanted to break my ribs . Dr. Lee did not break my ribs and only made a small incision on the opposite side of my chest . Dr Lee's office staff is great as well especially his nurse practitioner Christine. Quite simply the best and if you need heart surgery go to Dr Leonard Lee.
In 2010 my father had gone into the ER and he told us he told us my father had a 15% chance of living . He was the physician in charge of saving my father. I still remember the agony my father was in and how the staff in the ER waiting room only let my father come into the ER after he had fallen onto the floor. Dr. Lee saved my father that day . I will forever be greatful . He is truly a brilliant man .
His skill and knowledge to repair my heart . and make it well He has a calming bedside manner knowing he is TOP Thorasic surgon

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
