Very rude surgeon. Requires you adhere strictly to his protocol and if you express doubt about one of his procedures you are out and he is not nice about it. I do not believe his round window reversal is on the up and up, it is a rare procedure and therefore a big money maker. But that is an individual choice. My personal experience with this surgeon was very upsetting. I did not experience any caring or flexibility in this surgeon.

Dr Wackym gave my adult daughter her life back! After 14 years of searching for a doctor to resolve her ear pain, Dr Wackym listened, diagnosed and ultimately healed both of her ears. He is not only brilliant but also one of the kindest gentleman.

My daughter was seen today by Dr. Wachym for hearing loss. She is the mother of 3 children, two of whom are young and special needs. Losing her hearing is terrifying to her. Dr. Wachym put all her fears to rest. He took time to listen to her and answered all her questions. She couldn't be in better hands...looking forward to the surgery.

Waited four months for an appointment because Dr. Wackym had good reviews. Asked him about my symptoms (throat problem) and he said "I'm really not the man for that", looked in my ear and throat for 5 seconds, and then spent about 5 minutes explaining cochlea implants (which is apparently what he is the man for). It's true I have hearing problems, but I am not interested in a cochlea implant. So ...

Dr. Wackym is the BEST doctor our child has ever seen! He has a great way of speaking to kids and parents that is both reassuring and comforting. No question or concern goes unanswered. He really takes the time to listen and get to know patient. He is a highly skilled surgeon too. Our son had 2 surgeries with excellent results. Thanks so much Dr. Wackym for helping to restore our son's hearing.

Dr. Wackym made this a very pleasant visit reassuring me everything has been taking care of my cochlear implant upgrade. It has been a pleasure and a honor to have him as my doctor. He makes all the patients feel comfortable by providing warmth and care to all. The staff was as pleasant and accommodating.
