List of Ramzan Zakir's Reviews
My grandmother has received high quality for her heart conditions from Dr. Zakir. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs the best care for their cardiovascular ailments.
Horrible service. Thinks your time is unimportant. Waste of time. Very unprofessional
A kind, caring and knowledgeable doctor.
Went today as a first time patient. It’s actually my first visit to a cardiologist. Office is very modern and clean. They will validate parking if you park at the 55 New St. lot which is right around the corner from the office building at 317 George St in New Brunswick. The staff were all warm and efficient, from the technicians to the receptionist, Stephanie, who is a sweetheart! Dr Zakir is caring and very thorough. Most importantly he really listens to your symptoms and concerns. And best of all, I had no wait! I am very happy with my cardiologist selection.
Great doctor. Went to him after having complications from other doctor during the past two cats and stents. In fact he opened up an artery that was blocked since 1995.
Top doctor in the field. Dr Zahir saved my life. He's interested in your whole life not just your medical condition. I love his staff.
Dr. Zakir performed an emergency andiogram on me at RWJ hospital last June 4, 2018, meeting him for the first time. I just watched his video presentation on youtube today, 1/31/2019 & am just further impressed with his expertise in this new approach (Transradial Cadiac Catherization) using radial artery in the wrist compared to what was used on me 15 years ago in a NYC hospital with 4 stents (2 stents each in 2 months interval) through the femoral artery in the groin which takes more time & has more risks involved (now I know)...........Tests results showed 98% blockages & Dr. Zakir explained that he tried for me avoiding the bypass surgery but my case is not eligible...... Months after the surgery done by another surgeon, I maintained regular visits at Dr. Zakir's office instead of my other cardiologists in Freehold, NJ...... On my normal days & into cardiac rehab at a local hospital, I experienced unusual fluctuations in my blood pressure readings(usually over 175/95). My temper & other emotions were also up & down but thanks to Dr. Zakir's help (very cool demeanor) & directions to his staff, mainly Ms. Erin (Nurse P.), they help me attain the best consistent low level blood pressure ever............Me & my family feels so much comfort , ease at Dr. Zakir's office (turns out to be a standout tennis player in high school & plays casual tennis & basketball, can talk about the Jets, the Mets, etc.- I think makes him more down to earth type ). ..............The staff is very nice & professional (quick to assist and acknowledge us as soon as we get in the office)..... The positive experiences I had with Dr. Zakir make it very difficult and not wise if I choose to go back to my other doctors , even if we have to drive another 45 minutes to see him. Thanks much Dr. Zakir & good luck to fellow patients trying to "Heal" & find the "good doctor" for you!!!!!
I went to see him a few times. This was by far the worst office staff I've ever had to deal with. On one occasion, they left a voicemail to confirm an appointment. When I called back to confirm, I had a five minute argument that I actually had a scheduled appointment. On my first visit, the woman awnsering the calls was making fun of a patient age she just spoke to. When they finally took me in for the examination they seemed much more interested in finding out what doctor recommended me. We literally stopped the examination so I could grab my phone to find the recommending doctor's contact information. During my procedure, the staff was joking around and laughing like school children.
#1 CardiologistI have been to many doctors in my life time, but never had such a caring, very patient, understanding, and generous doctor like Dr. Zakir. The clinic is also very organized and is easy to attend and schedule appointments.
Love this doctor he saved my life... A doctor who really cares and is on Top of what he does ...thank you :)

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
