Dr. Mellender spent a very long time with me going over all of my problems. I think he is a very good doctor.

This is a teaching institution but many times Dr. Mellender see's me without any students. He takes the time to listen to me and explains the goals of any procedures to me. Also explains why he doesn't want to increase my narcotics and make me an addict. I feel like I am treated like a person and that he has my best interest in mind

He only sees you for 10 mins. Does not care about his patient at all. Has his nurse do all his work for him. Awful, awful, awful doctor

He was very patient, understanding, caring physician who took the time to listen to me and then the time and examine me and explain my possible treatment options and what there goals were. He made me feel like I mattered and explained the pros and cons of the plan without any pressure. I would highly recommend him to anyone

He is the worst doctor ever he suggested a nuerostimulator and when I said it didnt work he dropped me as a patient. I would never suggest going to the doctor. He talks about himself all the time. That is all that is important to him

This doctor is very understanding and does not act like he is your superior. He listens to what you have to say and acts upon same. Always gives enough time for you to explain things to him. He is very personable and likeable. He explains all you need to know and doesn't push you out of his office until you are ready to go. He actually apologizes if he is late too !! You do have to put up with all the student doctors there, but it's worth it. I would recommend Dr. Mellender to everyone.
