Dr. Joseph J. Marmora , of Associates in Cardiovascular Disease ( A.I.C.D. , ) is a superb interventional cardiologist . He can help you to avoid a heart attack , and he can also help you after you 've experienced a life-threatening heart attack . He alone definitely saved my life during an extremely dire medical emergency . Afterward , he guided me to Overlook Medical Center’s outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program in New Providence , N.J. where my recovery continued under very watchful eyes of the highly trained staff there . Dr. Marmora continues to monitor my progress - checking and adjusting my heart prescription medications as needed . He is board certified in 5 ( FIVE ) different medical specialties - in all of the most important areas of cardiology , and also in internal medicine ! ! ! ! !Dr. Joseph J. Marmora and A.I.C.D. belong to the very prestigious Atlantic Medical Group . Dr. Marmora apportions his hospital time between 2 of the 5 hospitals in the Atlantic Health System - the highly regarded Overlook Medical Center in Summit , N.J. , and the nationally acclaimed Morristown Medical Center . Morristown Medical Center is ranked among the 20 best hospitals in the entire country for both basic and advanced heart care .

Dr. Marmora is an excellent physician who cares about every patient. I know , as my 91 year old mother loves him. he is kind, professional and genuinely interested in every patient. More Dr.'s should have his bedside manners!! You will not be disappointed in his care. His smile will also light up the room and put you at ease immediately!
