I felt very confident and secure in your care. I felt like I was your only patient that day. I appreciate how well you took care of me. Thanks to your amazing staff. Best regards Zeljko
Dr Bernstein is the best. DO NOT GO TO ANYONE ELSE for hair transplant. Anyone else, you are on your own........
I have been going to Dr Bernstein since 2011. He is honest, knowledgable and had an excellent experience with him. My brother and my father travel from Asia to see him and we would not look or go elsewhere. He performed my surgery in 2019 August and i am thrilled to be his patient.
Dr. Bernstein is an artist with hair. He knows the right approach for each patient and the results speak for themselves. His staff is also pretty friendly and seem knowledgeable. Great experience.
Went to him for a correction on my scar from a previous transplant and it was like pulling teeth and he was bitter almost or actually was that I did not use him ...give me no hope whatsoever said to throw a tattoo on the scar and no compassion at all. Went to a different surgeon I would love to give you his name but I do not want to seem like I am promoting a different doctor nevertheless he implanted hairs into the scar and he gave me hope and guess what the scar is gone I mean it is unbelievable what this other doctor did for me...I wear my hair at a 2-3 buzz now...Bernstein is a bitter bold man and in his business he needs more people skills ...don’t give up if you see him ...there is hope and much better doctors than him!!
Not kidding. If you are starting the process and reviewing who to choose, please accept my advice and run don't walk to Dr. Bernstein's. I have had several procedures (this happens with aging, not a problem with any). The point is that I have some experience with more than one surgeon, which most people do not. I have no complaints about any. But Dr. Bernstein was lightyears ahead in terms of skill and procedures. It is not surprising, given his reputation. But let me say, the results were astounding, at least twice the density of previous periods (where latent losses returned the scalp area to baldness). No exaggeration, he is the best there is, and his physicianly care is also off the charts. Great doctor, great guy.
Perhaps the most honest hair transplant surgeon in the business. Very straightforward and direct. No nonsense. Detail oriented and supremely competent. More conservative in his work than other HT surgeons, but this likely leads to fewer bad outcomes.
After speaking with a plastic surgeon and trying both Propecia and Rogaine, I started looking into hair transplant surgery. After doing some research, I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Bernstein. His office was really beautiful and the staff were all understanding and discrete, which was great because I didn’t want to make a big thing out of this. In the consultation, Dr. Bernstein asked me about my hair loss, about when it started, the meds I took to combat it, what I could expect from hair transplantation, the difference between FUT and FUE, how many hairs I would need, how the transplanted area would age, and a million other things. I know this is a bit ridiculous to say, but he really impressed me. I understand that some people are looking for someone to take care of them as they ask these, admittedly delicate, questions, but I was just looking for an expert surgeon who could answer all my questions, who wouldn’t try to sell me on anything, and who wasn’t biased toward either FUT or FUE. Bernstein fit the bill. After another consultation and a few months of deliberation, I was in the operating room, ready to get an FUT procedure. Bernstein and his team were very nice and told me what I could expect. There was a huge T.V. in the operating room and they asked me if there was anything I’d like to watch – I actually don’t even remember what I was watching now – but I told them and before long, I was walking back out of the office (it turns out I was in there for around 6 hours). It has only been 10 days so I can’t really report on the quality or the hair growth or how it looks, but I can say that Bernstein and his staff were excellent. It was a very easy operation and the recovery has not been that bad (though I did experience some significant swelling). Looking forward to seeing the results!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
