If you’re considering any type of cosmetic surgery look no further - Dr. Samara Churgin and her team have you covered! I came across Dr. Churgin about 4/5 years ago. She was helping me with a keloid I had on my ear. Fast forward and now I’m 3 weeks post op from my Lipo 360 +BBL procedure. Dr. Churgin is very honest and realistic. I’m 5’7 and about 140 - I had fat removed from my stomach, back, flanks and medial thigh which was then used to enhance my hips and butt. I was aware that because I didn’t have much fat my results wouldn’t be dramatic which was fine as I was going for a very natural look. I could not be happier with the results! It’s still early and things will likely tighten up more as the days continue but wow!From the day of my initial consultation, Dr. Churgin and her team have been patient, kind and supportive. After surgery, her team calls to check on you almost daily and if you have any questions/concerns, they will get answers directly from Dr. Churgin herself.

Dr. Churgin is fabulous. I saw her in the Lenox Hill ER two days before Christmas, and she (a) couldn't have been more gracious about coming in on a weekend night to stitch me up, and (b) did a perfect job, even under the circumstances. The cut was on my upper lip, couldn't be more central, and six months later I can only barely tell there is a scar. She is a pro, tremendously experienced, I can't say enough good things about her.

My daughter was 15 when we first met with Dr. Churgin for a consult for a breast reduction. She suffered from severe back pain and was 5’ 2” and a size G. We did not take the possibility of our daughter having a breast reduction lightly and wanted to explore all options as there were many concerns about her development and implications for the future. That was over a year and a half ago and through consultation, exams, surgery and post op we would not change one thing!!!! Every visit was at least a two hour drive each way and Dr. Churgin and the entire administrative staff are caring, thorough and top notch!!! Dr. Churgin’s skill as a surgeon is unparalleled and coupled with amazing patience to answer all her questions and concerns. They assisted us with the insurance process which can be very lengthy but they were by our side through the entire process. Dr. Churgin even made a special visit to her NYC office to accommodate our schedule!!!! The staff was incredible - not only did they check in the night of the surgery but continued to follow-up for several days and made themselves available at ANY time day or night!! My daughter could not be happier with the outcome and her increase in self confidence as well as living pain free has been an unbelievable relief for her and us for a better quality of life! If you are considering a breast reduction for your daughter I would definitely recommend meeting with Dr. Churgin!! It has literally been life changing for my daughter!!!!!

I went to Dr. Churgin to get a minor cyst removed from my back. I didn't think much of it, since it was supposed to be a minor procedure that left a small scar. She did the procedure in her office. Two days later, before ever changing the original bandages she put on, the incision started to smell and was badly infected. The infection caused all of the stitches to dissolve and I was left with a big, open hole in my back. I sent pictures of the incision to her office and Dr. Churgin denied that it was infected (which seems worse, because then why did all of the stitches dissolve and leave the wound open?) and told me that there was nothing to do at that point besides letting the hole heal on its own. I ended up getting antibiotics from another doctor to treat the infection and I now have a huge scar on my back, which should have been a barely visible incision. Also, the wait times were unfairly long for the initial visit and all of the follow-ups.

Dr. Churgin and her office staff are amazing. Dr. Churgin made sure I understood all facets of the procedure I was having and made me feel at ease with the whole process. The office staff, specifically Frank, Kathy, Ann, and Jocelyn, were absolutely incredible and by far the best office staff of any medical office I've ever been to. I cannot say enough good things about them and Dr. Churgin!
