After not having my medicine changed in the months being seen by him, my therapist kept asking him for a change. I was informed Sanusi would call my therapist and then I was notified he would no longer see me and didn't even care to renew prescription while I was waiting to be seen by a new prescriber so I ran out of medine. He even wrote a letter saying they would provide interim psychiatric services for 30 days and the office staff asked me "where does it say that?". When I said the letter they sent said they would provide care for 30 days, they didnt believe me that prescriptions were covered. Last time I checked a psychiatrist manages medication and prescribes medicine, not the therapist. Doesn't seem to care, and the whole strategy of getting better is that you get better yourself or the medicine makes you better. There seems to be no accountability of him, just yourself and medicine.

Dr. Sanusi has no idea what he's doing. His office is always swamped ( at least 45+ mins wait times) and therefore he never has time for current patients. He is completely disorganized and every appointment seems totally rushed as he doesn't seem interested in taking time to understand his patients symptoms and needs. Everything is trial and error since he gives no forethought into how different medications interact with each-other. While he is cheaper compared to other psychiatrists, you're much better off finding a doctor who actually cares about you and knows what they're doing.

Saw Dr. Sanusi last night for the first time with my two teenage daughters that suffer from anxiety and depression. The woman at the reception desk was very nice. Dr. Sanusi was also extremely nice, and very caring. He did not rush the appointments at all, and seemed genuinely concerned about getting them both feeling better.
