Dr Hullinger not only listened to me but showed interest in me as her patient. She was kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and aware in regard to my symptoms and pain. I appreciate the information she has given me... as well as the care! I have sadly been to lots of doctors as of late. She is one of the very few who has shown compassion and understanding in addition to being a good doctor!

I’ve been living with chronic pain for several years and without knowing that some of those pains were due to a neck injury. From the moment I stepped into Dr. Hullinger’s office I knew she was going to be instrumental in getting me back on my feet, and she has been. She is hands down the best doctor I’ve ever worked with and an excellent orthopedist. She’s incredibly compassionate, brilliant and a remarkable problem-solver. Enough cannot be said about her and her wonderful staff, Marina and Sarah. Easily the best practice in NJ. Would highly recommend Dr. Hullinger and her team to anyone who is dealing with neck or back pain.

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Hullinger and her team. I was so apprehensive about getting back surgery that I lived with chronic pain for years. My only regret is that I did not have my operation sooner with Dr. Hullinger. From the moment I woke up after surgery, I felt great ! Dr. Hullinger is highly skilled, compassionate and truly at the top of her profession.

If you arrive 15 mins late, best to reschedule. The x-ray specialist made me choose between the 2 problem areas (neck and lower back) which one to take images of, so the "doctor can get out on time", yet the x-rays took only about 2 minutes for a problem area. Nevertheless both areas were discussed and evaluated by both the intake nurse and the doctor, with some repetitive evaluation, but only looking at x-rays of the neck while guessing about the lower back. I don't understand what was the point of shaving off of 2 minutes of x-rays - could have reduced instead some of the repetitive evaluation. This was a mid afternoon appointment and the office was not too busy. I wish they have asked me to reschedule right upfront, now we really waisted everyone's precious time.

In late May 2018, I was immobilized with near paralysis due to severe spinal stenosis compressing my spine and nerves. Through professional channels, I was referred to Dr. Heidi Hullinger, Orthopedic and Spine surgeon (Summit, NJ). Subsequently, Dr. Hullinger and her team successfully performed delicate thoracic and lumbar spine procedures to correct my problems. Now, I am recovering well, regaining my mobility and strength thanks to Dr. Hullinger's expertise, patience and dedication.

From the very first day I walked into Dr. Hullinger’s office I felt comfortable and confident that this was the surgeon who could fix my back. She explained the condition that was causing my back and leg pain and assured me that it was something she could fix. What a relief that was! Surgery was in July 2018 and by the middle of August I was pain free. The post-surgery restrictions were the only issues for me and now, 6 months after surgery, I am free of all restrictions & fully functional!

Dr. Hullinger is top notch, she gave me back my life. Dr. Hullinger was there every hour for every need. Marina and Brian were amazing in my care. I highly recommend Dr. Hullinger and her staff.
