List of Ira M. Goldstein Md's Reviews
I have had four surgeries by Dr. Goldstein & will have the fifth next month. I do not let anyone else touch my Spine but him. I would even travel to another State if that was the case, to be seen by him. He is EXCELLENT as a doctor & as a person. I highly recommend Dr. Ira Goldstein!
Do not recommend!
Dr. Goldstein and his team nurse and assistant are kind and compassionate! Dr. Goldstein is an excellent surgeon attentive and understanding. The wait might be long but only because him and his team take time for each individual patient. All my questions were answered and I felt well taken care of. It’s nice to deal with an experienced doctor and staff! Overall I would recommend Dr. Goldstein and his team to anyone!
Dr. Goldstein has all the knowledge and expertise you need to correct your problem. He is also a Professor of Neurosurgery. His PA Ana Cadena is also a very good and knowledge Nurse. There are no other doctors I would allow my Spine Health but him. The actual Secretary is the only one there I do not wish you have to deal with.
Dr . Goldstein is great! His secretary's not so much! They were ignorant to me on the phone & refused to let me speak with the doctor or make an appointment!
The wait at the office is over 2hrs. He say 1 thing but after the procedure it's like he don't want any dealings with you. I had my spine work on. I was supposed to walk the next day not only it took 3 mos to walk I have to have another procedure and I have tremors and pain for the rest of my like. Because he service the urban areas it's like he don't care he talk to you like dirt. And it's not right. Tell he says to ppl if you lose weight you wouldn't have this problem.
Got stuck with a Resident because Dr Goldstein was too busy after it took 3 months to get an appointment. Then was told to go see previous surgeon that doesn't take my insurance... this was a complete waste of my time bordering on Medicaid Fraud.
I was suffering of Lumbar & Cervical Pain since 1985. I went to numerous Doctors, Physical Therapies, Quiropractors, Pain Managments, 17 Epidurials. In 2012 my Pain became excrutiating. I went to Dr. Ira Goldstein @ the end of July 2013 & he said the MRI of my Cervical was worst @ the time than my Lumbar, so he Operated my Cervical on August 15, 2013. I'll be truthfully to you: "the after surgery pain is terrible & recovery very slow." I just became PAIN-FREE, on the week of February 3rd, 2014. I most also tell you that he is EXCELLENT as a Doctor & as a Person. He is a very dedicated, concern person toward his patients, very knowledgeable & sweet. His staff, PA Ana & his Secretary are also wonderful !! If you need Spine Surgery, I truly recommend Dr. Goldstein to you. **On April 6, 2015 Dr. Goldstein had to Operate my Posterior Cervical, too** The previous one was an Anterior Cervical Surgery (front of my Neck). Let me tell you: this Posterior one hurts 10 times more ! Recovery is a lot longer. I still not heal as of today, June 29, 2015.
I would recommend Dr. Ira Goldstein to anyone who needs back surgery. He listens to all your concerns and answers your questions in a way you would understand. He has great credentials and is a very patient doctor. Wouldn't want any other surgeon cutting my back open but Dr. Goldstein...Definetley 5 stars!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
