I do not recommend at all. She was dismissive and condescending. Actually stood up and started to leave as I was asking her questions. I literally had to say, “please wait, I’m not done with my questions.” She didn’t pay attention when I gave her my sons’s history and would ask questions over that I had already answered. Overall her bedside manner was horrible. She made it seem like we were wasting her time. So apathetic and dismissive each time I brought up something or tried to understand a point she was making. I switched doctors immediately. I don’t trust a word she said to me.

I agree with the previous comment. The doctor had no bedside manners and speaks to you in a condescending way. I dread my follow up appointment. I think she needs some training in manners.

My daughter saw Dr. Ton for a stomach issue and Dr. Ton offered no testing, no meds, nothing just a wait and see and after 3 appts. of her wait and see method we just stopped going back.

Every time I interacted with this doctor during appointments, it was an unpleasant experience. She is incredibly rude and disrespectful. I felt like I was repeatedly being talked down to and laughed at. Her bedside manner is practically non-existent. It always seemed like she was annoyed and that she didn't want to be bothered. ANY professional, much less a professional in the medical field, should not conduct business in this manner. I would give her negative stars if I could. I don't know who in their right brain gave her a medical degree, I am disgusted with the care I received. Terrible, just terrible.

Dr. Mimi Ton is a horrible Practitioner that doesn’t deserve a rating!!! She’s rude, over speak parents, has a terrible tone and it’s obvious she doesn’t care about special needs population. My daughter visited the practice today and I definitely not impressed. She was recommended by Dr. Sunaryo who retired 2 years ago. He was very detailed, patient centered and most importantly very nurturing. Being referred by Dr. Sunaryo, I expected similar if not better service. My daughter has 15 years of complex issues in several areas; therefore not remembering every detail I think is normal. Well this annoyed Mimi Ton😖😤😤, as a result she over spoke us, made faces and was least bit interested in my Daughter’s care. I won’t be returning and would not recommend her to anyone. BTW I’m a Registered Nurse at the hospital she’s staffed at and I’m embarrassed that she’s the Head of the Gastrointestinal Department and will never recommend her to families I encounter. Dr Ton misdiagnosed my child for two years. I even specifically asked if my daughter could have a certain birth defect, and had Dr Ton laugh at my suggestion. She diagnosed my daughter with something minor instead. During the two years we saw her she missed many hallmark signs that my daughter was misdiagnosed. When my daughter nearly died two years later, we found out she had the exact condition Dr Ton had laughed me off about. For your child's safety, take them elsewhere, please.

We saw Dr Ton for two years. When we first started seeing her I asked if my daughters GI issues could be caused by a potentially serious birth defect that a friends toddler had died from. Dr Ton actually laughed at my suggestion and said it was impossible. She diagnosed my daughter with something much more minor instead. My daughter continued to be constantly sick, and I told Dr Ton the medication she prescribed didn't work. I asked if we should do more testing or try different medications. She said it was normal with my daughters "condition" to not be completely helped by medicine, and that we should not do more testing as there was nothing else to test for and we didn't want to expose my daughter to unnecessary radiation. Two years after we began seeing Dr Ton my daughter nearly died, and we found out that she did indeed have the exact birth defect that Dr Ton had laughed at me for asking about at the start. Dr Ton would have found it had she ordered a very common diagnostic test. Dr Ton made me feel like I was just a paranoid mom on more than one occasion over the years. She didn't listen to the severity of my child's symptoms, and missed several very blatant signs of my daughter's true diagnosis. My daughter survived by pure luck, and would have been dead within the next few hours thanks to her misdiagnosis. My daughter also needlessly suffered for two years, spent a lot of time in the hospital (which resulted in a lot of medical debt for our family), when a simple surgery was all that was actually needed to correct her birth defect. Please don't risk your child's health, search out a different pediatric GI.

My daughter was a patient of hers for two years, we thought she was okay during that time. She was a bit snobbish (like the other poster said), but we thought that meant she knew a lot about her specialty so we ignored her attitude of superiority. After two years of seeing Dr Ton, our daughter nearly died, and we found out that Dr Ton had misdiagnosed her. Her true diagnosis was something I had specifically asked Dr Ton about, and Dr Ton had actually laughed at my suggestion and said there was no way. In hindsight Dr Ton missed the hallmark signs of a potentially deadly condition, instead diagnosing my child with a very minor and completely unrelated syndrome. My daughter suffered for two years and nearly died thanks to Dr Ton's misdiagnosis.

NOT RECOMMENDED by me. I don't find her caring. She had a snobbish attitude on our first (and final) appointment. She never returned my emergency calls regarding my 4-month old child when she was an on call doctor one day.
