Not impressed with the person who answered the phone, she was not combative but very short just trying to get insurance information. Finally got her the info she needed and flatly told me the next available appointment over 63+ days away. No thanks....
Super unprofessional. Went for an appt with Dr. Nicholas Baranetsky and was told by the security guard that it was on the 4th floor. Went 2 the 4th floor and was told 2 go 2 the 2nd floor. Went 2 the 2nd floor and was told it was on the 1st floor. Mind you, these 3 locations were on opposite ends of the building (18 minutes of walking back and forth) When I get there they fault me for being late 2 the appt and then they didn't even have the script on file that was faxed by my PCP 2 see Baranetsky. And the receptionist had an attitude. I was going 2 be a new patient but no way will I go back there.
I highly recommend treatment with Dr Baranesky
I've been a patient of Dr. Baranetsky since the late 1980s when I was first diagnosed w/ Hasimoto's. Dr. B is one of the most understanding & compassionate doctors I've ever known. I was very frightened when I first went to him because I had a horrible experience with another endocrinologist. He allayed all my concerns and explained everything. I trust him completely.
I forgot my insurance ID and this is the worst staff I have ever seen. I never met the doctor but I believe he should be the same as his staff. I told the staff that I can email her my ID but she wasn't giving her email because she thinks she is too pretty. My foot. Please don't waste your time and energy on this doctor. There are plenty of good doctors out there. Stay away from these folks. They are absolutely non professional.
Dr. Baranetsky is fantastic! I wish it were easier to reach the office. Making appointments usually means a couple of months in advance.
Excellent and very nice doctor. Soft spoken . You can ask anything and will explain things thoroughly. Have a very good bedside manner. The only downside is his staff. They are not friendly at all ,you never see them smile or at least greet you. Scheduling for an appoinment is not easy .
He is a very nice and soft spoken doctor. Getting appointment takes weeks and a return phone call the same. It's a shame his staff is the worst I have ever encountered in any doctors office. I dread even speaking to them, it's so bad I want to find a new doctor because of THEM!!!! So unprofessional . It's a shame for this doctor
This is a very insightful competent doctor. Sadly, his staff could be better. Compared to other doctors' office staff, they are not good about returning phone calls for appointments; often keep you on hold; don't show any initiative. Suspect this is one reason for long wait for appointments. Were he to have a better staff, this doctor's full talent would be better realized.
I waited months and months for an appointment with Dr. Baranetsky. I finally got in to see him and it was a total waste of time. He brushed me off and said my primary care doctor was doing a good job managing my problem and there's nothing he can do for me. Um hello?? She sent me to him!! He should have ordered blood and saliva tests, but didn't even do that. Nice guy, seems like he cares, but I think he's gotten old, got a good reputation and is lazy.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
