Worst Doctor in Newark. Not even Board Certified. Receptionist has a habit of over charging an extra $5 on the Office visit. I discovered their scam and I’m awaiting my refund. This so-called Doctor thinks that patients waiting in his waiting room for 3 hours is no big deal.

Family member had serious medical issues. The reviews for Paul Arias seemed legitimate, so I made the appointment. I told him that i had been doing some research and suggested that the issue might be neurological. He dismissed me and first suggested that the medical issue was due to a vitamin deficiency. After a month, symptoms did not change and we went back to see him. Once again, he dismissed my research (didn’t take me serious because he’s the “doctor”) and he suggested that I see a foot doctor. Long story short: 3 months later, symptoms worsened and I finally took MY research serious and made an appointment with a neurologist. Sure enough, it was neurological. I don’t know how this doctor has almost 5 stars. He has a know-it-all complex and doesn’t listen. He did not treat and misdiagnosed my family member!!! In my eyes he is NOT WORTHY OF FIVE STARS!!!

I have been a patient for a couple of years and I have always loved the professionalism of the staff and Dr Arias, there’s usually a wait but well worth it, Dr Arias is very thorough and listen to your concerns, during the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr Arias was always on call, he ALWAYS retuned my calls, did phone conferences to listen to my concerns and he treated me and my son sincere we got sick with the COVID-19 virus, he NEVER left me waiting, the staff is phenomenally, I can’t say enough about Dr Arias and his Staff, they went well beyond their duties to make sure I and my son were being cared for during these hard times, thank you so much for everything, words can’t express how grateful I am to you, Myself and my son are alive and well because of you

Doctor Arias is one of the best doctor I ever met. Unfortunately he doesn’t take state health insurance anymore.

El mejor médico que he tenido, muy organizado,con mi historia clínica. Siempre pregunta, investiga y te manda exámenes médicos, no como otros médicos que les da miedo mandar a hacer pruebas médicas. Gracias por tanta ayuda y misericordia.

He is a great doctor but the wait times are unbearable. The quickest I’ve ever been attended by Dr. Arias was 45 minutes after my appointed time. On average it’s over an 1 hour of waiting after your appointment time.
